Frida cantina is the best!! My boyfriend and I eat here almost every week. It’s a neighborhood staple and the food is so good. I have never had anything bad from here. We like the burritos and the enchiladas the best and the chips and guacamole. I love the red sauce that comes with the burritos. When we do go in for happy hour drinks, the atmosphere and decor are really cute with the decorations and artwork and the plants. The drinks are so good, my favorite is the Rosita (pomegranate tequila cocktail), but I have never had anything to drink here that wasn’t amazing, like the margaritas which have multiple flavors.

Yesterday I went for chicharron quesadilla one beer and got food poisoning sintoms 2hrs later.. luckily I ate only 1/4 portion of one quesadilla out of 3, otherwise I don't know if I will be here writing this. They where not good anyways.

I've been here for a few happy hours and really like this place. The margheritas are perfect and the food is very good. Good beers on tap. The place is decorated great, lots of Frida. The bartender and service are friendly and attentive. It's a place I'll definitely be back

Love this spot. The food is great, and i really love the staff. Excellent selection of mezcal. I recommend the tacos al pastor, cabeza, and suadero, as well as the enchiladas de mole, the pescado frito, and the ceviche. Very good micheladas, and i love the cantaritos cocktail. They have a good selection of take out beer, too.

If you get a gift card beware!! I had received a gift card before for a botched delivery where my food came 4 hours late, but I decided since it was on DoorDash the restaurant was fine. I ordered on the phone and came to pick up my order with my digital gift card in hand. I told the gentleman at the bar I had a gift card, and he said to wait. After he left a lady came by and when I showed her my card she went back to the terminal and punched in my order and told me to pay with tap to pay. After it was paid for she printed me a receipt which showed the full amount, but not with the amount from the gift card taken out. When I brought this up to the gentleman he said he didn’t know how to process refunds on the machine, and that the gift card didn’t have an expiration date and that I could come back after. I told him that I came today because I had a gift card, but he wouldn’t listen or refund me and allow me to pay again with the gift card and the correct amount we spoke of before.
