Headed here for brunch and was pleasantly surprised to see that there were many vegan and gf options. I ended up getting the loaded fries and the tostadas which is a brunch special right now. Absolutely LOVED the loaded fries and 10/10 recommend. Wasn’t as big a fan of the tostadas. Didn’t really love the tofu scramble and the breakfast potatoes but overall enjoyable
Our 1st time dining@Front St Cafe. The service was very good. Waitress super nice. Food taste great. I'll def return w/friends.
Shout out to my favorite waiter Mo, always takes great care of me and is very attentive. It's always a great vibe
Wonderful spot for a nice casual brunch! Food is delicious, portions are generous, and service is great.
Loved the outdoor seating and great weekday specials. Food was delicious and service was good.
Liked the atmosphere of the garden courtyard area for brunch. Food wasn't anything special.
Plenty of options, everything was pretty good. The fried mozzarella was maybe better labeled as fried cheese, and great. Loaded fries and cauliflower wings were equally delicious. The eggplant was a bit meh, the skins were just really tough. Desert options were good.
Very good food, great friendly service and refreshing libations. Portion size was plentiful and the buffalo cauliflower appetizer still is my hands down favorite. I've eaten here many times and the FSC always provides a great experience.
A friend of mine has celiacs and was able to choose from a good set of options for brunch and did not get sick from cross-contamination. A win for us!
Love that for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner there are many many options! A great spot to come with non-veg eaters as well. Mostly vegan menu or can be made vegan. Cute outdoor garden/patio as well. Brunch recs: tofu benedict w/ mushroom scrapple Lunch recs: tofu banh mi Turnover recs: loaded fries (even non veg partner loved!) Dinner recs: buffalo cauliflower for the table, vegan French onion soup (clarify vegan cause they have non veg too), stuffed shells.

Excellent all around - staff were friendly and quick. Food was delicious. Outdoor seating here is the way to go.
My experience at Front Street was wonderful. My mom was dining with me, and she has celiac disease and is also a vegan. The restaurant had a vibrant atmosphere, a wide array of choices for her and our server, David was wonderful. We were traveling into Philly from New York and it was a wonderful time and experience. We would definitely visit again when we are in town. Highly recommend this spot for anyone with gluten allergies. They were wonderful to my mom.
I made a reservation for 930pm and then by staff was called to say that they close at 10pm. Was told that if we don't get there by 945pm then we won't be seated. OK. I understood. We got there early just to be sure we could get seated. Then, we were told again that they close at 10pm. We felt rushed with our meal. The food was just OK. Nothing special. The spinach artichoke dip was the worst we ever had. It was a one and done for our group. There are way better restaurants in the city.
The food was good. We enjoyed the mango mule, the harvest salad, and all of the desserts. I was especially excited about this restaurant because it was recommended as being allergy-friendly and I was happy to find many allergens listed on their menu - just not soy. As someone with a recently developed soy allergy, I'm finding it very difficult to find accommodating restaurants. I was disappointed that when I asked about items on the menu that were soy-free, the server told us that he honestly didn't have time for that. We put our orders in and he was able to confirm that my salad was soy-free, but we would have ordered more food if they were able to spend an extra minute or two with our table. I was hoping to add FSC to my shortlist of soy-allergy-friendly restaurants in Philly, but I probably won't be coming back.
We had brunch here for the first time, and it was excellent on all levels. I had been to Front Street Cafe on several occasions for dinner over the past 2 years but had not had a meal as high quality as our brunch on Saturday. New chef? I don't know, but I'll go back for sure.
