I’ve always felt my favorite banh mi spots were in north and south Philly. Oh my I’ve found another amazing spot located in the cedar park neighborhood of west Philly. Order the classic with pate and extra mayo, something about their mayo sauce mix, with every bite it got better and better ??

Fu Wah is just the best. They squeeze in an incredible selection of Asian groceries in a tight space and their tofu banh mi hoagie with everything on it is my favorite in the city. The staff here are super helpful and efficient. They are no longer cash only.

My go to in philly for BANH mi sandwiches. When I come over bridge from nj I like to treat myself somewhere if time permits. I Ordered the tofu ones for me and sis. Delicious, but could've used a tiny bit more of the mayo/spread they use. This location his a mini market as well, with lots of grocery items, fresh produce, frozen foods, drinks, cleaning products, pet foods, you name it.
