I’m very disappointed. We have been eating this pizza especially during lent for a long time. Recently the pizza has changed. Not cooked and made to go. It’s made ahead of time, frozen then warmed when you pick it up. It’s dry and not as saucy. Very upset This was the best pizza in Philly. And the pieces are smaller.Well, thank you Bryan and Pete. This pizza was so much better it came out hot and the pieces were cut bigger. I also had the chance to taste the pepperoni Stromboli and it tastes great. Not greasy and a lot of pepperoni. I also bought the rolls and they were easy to chew not doughy and great for steak sandwiches, garlic bread or even gizmos.Lastly, the woman who took care of me was so pleasant and nice. Thank you !

We never came here, but we get the tomato pies from Weavers Way and they’re absolutely killer! We have to refrain ourselves from picking one up every time we seen them at the store!

Gates's makes the best buffalo chicken Stromboli in the city! It takes a minute but it's worth it! It's the best for the money and the flavor will have you coming back for more! 5

Been eating here since i was about 10 and I'm 44 honestly hands down the best pizza/ tomato pies in Philadelphia. Try their new Louie Pie it’s amazing top notch. Home of the Homemade tomato pie the regular tomato pie with cheese on top is great as well. Omg I think I’m gonna go get a Louie pie tomorrow when they reopen cause my mouth is watering just writing this review

The best tomato pie around, bar none. The price is reasonable for the amount of pie that they serve. The workers are extremely friendly.

Hands down the best tomato pie in the Philadelphia area. No longer live in the neighborhood but still go out of my way to get them especially for events and family get togethers. The new owners are awesome guys and you can tell they absolutely love what they do. Also, not as known for the their round pie but don't skip out it will not disappoint!

Tomato pie excellent as always . The breads were not in horseshoe shape which took away from taste and quantity they were just ok not as good as the past 30 years I've had from there just sad maybe all good things do come to an end or maybe not please go back to original.

We haven't been here in years since we moved but were in the area. One tomato pie and one white pie. Same friendly service as remembered from the nice ladies. The pies however did not live up to memory. The sauce on the tomato pie was overly sweet (the crust was as good as remembered) and the white pizza was nothing more than cheesy bread. No flavor. Oh well it seems nothing is as good as it used to be these days.
