This is the kind of place that every neighborhood wants. One that will convert and use an existing building/structure, modify it, invest in the community, and offer an amazing product/service. In the case of the Malt House they provide locals and visitors with an amazing place to grab a drink, grab some creative, tasty, and reasonably priced food, and enjoy the ambience of the converted church. Wife and I were still very full from breakfast but we didn't want to leave philly without trying this sandwich. Fun spin on the cheese steak and honestly it didn't disappoint.
Place was big and felt weird but it was very empty for lunch and I could see it being a fun place at night when it's full.

First time here and I must say the French onion soup was slammminnnn hands down. Brussels sprouts was amazing. Expresso martini was perfect. Maddie our waitress was amazing, informative, great energy, and positive vibes. Definitely will come here again and again and again.
