Cash only business. Better than place across the street. Try the cheesesteak with mushrooms.

I always make it a point to have a Cheesesteak here every time I'm in the area. In years past, they had a lot of signage about speaking English and other things I found slightly offensive and very distasteful. They've definitely cleaned up their act and everything is highly polished. It's definitely a touristic place, but their cheesesteaks are so good! In years past the staff always gave the customers a hard time and it was kind of part of the whole experience. This time they were very courteous and I kind of missed some of that sassy south Philly attitude.Kid-friendliness: I think any kid loves a good sandwich or french fries doused in Cheez Whiz. Seating is outdoors on picnic tables so you don't have to worry about the messes they make
Sincerely, it’s too much hype than is really good taste. If you are doing a visit on philadelphia, is good to visit to eat this sandwich, but, isn’t amazing as a lot of people told me.The lunch is flavorless and to make it, you need to put some ketchup and relish. The experience was good, but isn’t superb.

If you're on a quest for the quintessential Philly cheesesteak, look no further than Geno's Steaks in Philadelphia. This iconic spot isn't just a restaurant; it's a landmark, a pilgrimage site for those who worship at the altar of melted cheese and thinly sliced ribeye.

A good cheese steak but not the best that you can get in Philadelphia! The place is definitely eye catching, great service from the staff, it’s worth stopping at least once to try and say you’ve been there!

Sooo Geno’s staff was soooo nice (they gave us geno pens) and helpful in choosing a sandwich, seeing that it was our first time there in philly….we got the pizza, regular cheese whiz, and meatball subs….they were all good but i feel a little seasoning would have made them more tasty…..But I Recommend Geno’s ??

Avoid this place! Terrible customer service. Cheap hustle tactics. First of all, we wanted to experience Phylly's authentic dishes in a traditional local place. We arrived, made the line and ordered. The price for the Philly cheese steak sandwich was $14 dollars flat for a sandwich (which is not that expensive)(I bought 2 of them with french fries and soda). But the first thing to catch your eye is that they only accept cash. I requested a receipt, they don't provide receipts. So, the cashier told us to go to the other window to pickup the french fries and drinks. As we reach the pickup spot, the delivery person told us it was anadditional $20 for that. I really thought it was a joke, so I asked her that I've already paid $28 for that and she told me these were "two separate businesses". We paid her what she told us. We tried the sandwiches, nothing special. Overpriced and bad customer service.
All around great place! ? Phillys were delicious
