Geno's Steaks Reviews
Just wrapped up a "steak-out" at Geno's Steaks in South Philly legendary landmark that draws tourists like moths to a flame. Or me to the Bat signal. And let me tell you, this place is a Gotham-sized slice of Philly flavor!

Geno's Steaks is a popular spot for cheesesteaks and cheese fries. The outdoor seating area offers a cozy atmosphere, perfect for family gatherings. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially towards children. Known for its quick service, Geno's is a favorite among tourists. The restaurant has a long history of serving cheesesteak hoagies with cheese wiz and onions. Some customers find the meat in the sandwiches to be tender and appreciate the crispy, cheesy cheese fries. However, others feel that the sandwiches can be soggy and lack flavor, with the meat tasting like cheap kebab beef. A few visitors mention that the sandwiches are overstuffed, making them dry, and recommend getting it with onions for better flavor. Despite limited parking and some mixed reviews, Geno's remains a recommended stop for a classic Philly experience, especially for those interested in the historic aspect of the city’s cheesesteak tradition.
