I don’t know what was worst, the food or the service. Food was bland and the bread was tough. The canned mushrooms uncooked. With the attitude that the wench had you would have thought the food would be exceptional at least.

Geno's Steaks is a must stop in Philadelphia for those who want to experience an authentic cheesesteak in a flavorful atmosphere.

I feel bad for any out of town visitors ordering a cheese steak here expecting to get a a real Philly cheese steak. Tasted more like an overcooked, overpriced roast beef sandwich, not to mention the staff was miserable and got the order wrong.

The steak sandwich was small & mass produced like a McDonalds cheeseburger. I've had better in Philly but this location is inside the NBC Sports area near Eagles Stadium. $14-bux

This was my first time trying Geno's and it exceeded expectations. The cheesesteak with provolone cheese was humongous and filling. I couldn't get enough of it. Especially because they made it right in front of you. Can't wait to come back!

Overpriced WAWA sandwiches. I’m surprised I wasn’t charged for the ketchup.

Just wrapped up a "steak-out" at Geno's Steaks in South Philly legendary landmark that draws tourists like moths to a flame. Or me to the Bat signal. And let me tell you, this place is a Gotham-sized slice of Philly flavor! The fluorescent lights and bustling energy felt like a scene straight outta Joker's Gotham night club. I went with the classic "Whiz Without"—that's Philly code for a cheesesteak with Cheez Whiz and no fried onions, for all you Bat-fans out there. One bite, and I was hooked. The thinly sliced steak, melty cheese, and soft roll created a symphony of flavors that would make even the Penguin surrender his lunch money. But Geno's ain't just about cheesesteaks, folks. Their cheese fries, ordered from the separate window where you get fries and sodas, are a gooey, delicious crime against healthy eating. Coke products available to drink. And Cherry peppers, relish, ketchup, and mustard are free and self-serve. While I devoured my feast, I couldn't help but notice the wall adorned with police patches from across the U.S. – a tribute to the thin blue line that reminded me of my own crusade for justice. Snapped a pic in front of it, a symbol of the shared fight for good that unites us all. Overall, Geno's Steaks lives up to its legendary reputation. It's a taste of Philly history, a tribute to the everyday heroes, and a cheesesteak experience that'll leave you saying, "Yo, that was good shtuff".

Genuinely the most disgusting cheesesteak I’ve ever had. The meat was not chopped it was like steak-ums in full thick sheets folded over inside the stale bun. The meat never got hot enough to melt the cheese underneath and the only toppings were onions. They had hot peppers sitting in an open container near the condiments in the corner. The attendant was kind but the 60 year old women making my food had a stank face the entire time and yelled for us to come get our order (it was loud, as to be expected inside xfinity live) so we didn’t hear her the first time. The best part was the refund the manager gave us and knowing I’ll never come back.

This is for the Genos located in Phila Live! Casino. Ordered a Mushroom cheese steak, fried onions, paid via comp, left $2 in the jar, recieved a half filled sandwich without the mushrooms. Only the 2nd time in 40 years of Genos patronage I've been dissatisfied. Definitely must have caught someone on a bad day. Next trip back got the genos cheese steak I was expecting, back to 5 star sandwich.
