I had the shrimp po boy a few times, and it’s absolutely amazing! The bread is fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The shrimp is large and fully seasoned. They drizzle a lovely sauce all over the sandwich as well. I love it!

Doesn’t seem like they’re putting love in the food anymore, I used to love gilbens food but it’s not how it used to be. The turkey wings were dry and the cabbage wasn’t cooked all the way. The lady owner can take criticism.

The food is amazing it's like Sunday dinner at Grandma's house. My only hold-up is the service can be a little faster. I normally go there right before I go to work, and I'm in there for about 20 minutes I literally have to ask for somebody to come ring me up so I can go that's the only problem that I have with this establishment time management.

The food was great! The old school gospel music was a great touch while waiting for the orders to be taking , my feet were tapping away I felt like I was in church. I ordered black eye peas and buttered rice and I enjoyed every fork full.

So first off, the service was wonderful. Super friendly guy working the counter. Food wise, I tried the Garlic Parm Cheesesteak and it was...interesting. With the rosemary and other spices it almost tasted like a thanksgiving cheesesteak stuffing. A bit heavy on the salt, but delicious
