Service Amazing!! Food Amazing!!
I got the Sammy, Honeysuckle Latte and 1/2 dozen Pasteis de Nata. Got there at 9:45 on a Sunday and they were out of the Bolas. Darn! They do get busy, so plan on waiting 15-45min. But they have your order out pretty fast once you order. Very efficient kitchen.
I’ll be going earlier next time because there will definitely be a next time and another next time etc…
Highly Recommend!!

It's a nice little coffee shop with a few unique pastries that make it stand out. We got a cold brew and a chocolate donought. They were pretty good together but neither were amazing on their own. The pastry had a savory (or at least not sweet) bun which was a little odd for a pastry but didnt take away from it too much. The staff was pretty friendly and fast with everything as well. While there wasn't much of a line, there also wasn't a tone of seating either so I could see it getting packed. Overall it was a good spot nestled in fishtown.

Amazing espresso tonic and pastel. Can’t wait to try more here. Wish they had a bench or some outdoor seating.

If you are craving for Portuguese Pastel de Nata or what they call egg tart then you have to go to Gilda. They are also a coffee shop so you can stay and chat with your friends while savoring your favorite egg tart.

Great atmosphere. Really enjoyed the bolas de berlim (orange & dulce de leche). The Antonio was great as a vegetarian version (ask for guac). We enjoyed the hot Sammy as well (not actually spicy). Good food for price!

The crust is very crispy and delicious! The egg inside is suitable for those who like it creamy! It looks small but is quite filling

Best thing to ever happen to me and all my friends!!

I didn’t realize how lost I was on finding my perfect coffee/breakfast in Philly until Gilda popped up. Been going since the first week it opened and by god i’ll be going every day I’m able until time ceases to exist.

Natas have the perfectttt custard texture and I can easily eat 3 in one sitting (any flavor/any time). The Antonio is an easy fishtown staple. The bread and butter? What more could a girl ask for!

The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, the food is excellent made with love and the people who work there are like family!

Gilda is my first recommendation for anytime anyone asks me for a coffee spot or place to get a little work done in Philly. Plenty of room to sit, fast service and great company!

A lively breakfast restaurant atmosphere. The interior is cozy and welcoming. The blue tiles give it a Portuguese feel. The egg tarts are crispy and soft. A well-balanced happy dessert.

Everything I’ve tried at Gilda (and I’ve tried most of the menu) has been delicious. While I wish they had a few more offerings, if they only served the Pasteis de Nata, I would be satisfied. Crispy and flaky on the outside, rich and custardy on the inside, these just may be my favorite pastries in the city. The dark chocolate sea salt flavor is particularly sublime. Come early on the weekends, as they tend to sell out early! I usually go during the week and am able to snag one (or ten) later in the day.
