It's a nice little coffee shop with a few unique pastries that make it stand out. We got a cold brew and a chocolate donought. They were pretty good together but neither were amazing on their own. The pastry had a savory (or at least not sweet) bun which was a little odd for a pastry but didnt take away from it too much. The staff was pretty friendly and fast with everything as well. While there wasn't much of a line, there also wasn't a tone of seating either...
If you are craving for Portuguese Pastel de Nata or what they call egg tart then you have to go to Gilda. They are also a coffee shop so you can stay and chat with your friends while savoring your favorite egg tart.
I got the Sammy, Honeysuckle Latte and 1/2 dozen Pasteis de Nata. Got there at 9:45 on a Sunday and they were out of the Bolas. Darn! They do get busy, so plan on waiting 15-45min. But they have your order out pretty fast once you order. Very efficient kitchen.
I’ll be going earlier next time because there will definitely be a next time and another next time etc…
