Absolutely recommended! I’m a London tourist visiting Philadelphia, and I was immediately drawn to this little coffee shop. The staff were super friendly, and the coffee was delicious! A special thank you to one of the customers (with a lovely dog) who kindly offered to pay for my coffee when I only had a card and no cash. That gesture really warmed my heart—thank you! ☺️☺️

I love Gleaner’s! Their coffee is great and their sandwiches are extremely tasty. The bagels are toasted perfectly. Get “The Gleaner” sandwich! ? The staff is very kind and I enjoyed looking at the local art for sale covering the walls as well.

I went here for the first time today and loved it! The staff were so friendly and they knew practically every person that walked in the door. Very warm and neighborhood feel to it.
