Absolutely recommended! I’m a London tourist visiting Philadelphia, and I was immediately drawn to this little coffee shop. The staff were super friendly, and the coffee was delicious! A special thank you to one of the customers (with a lovely dog) who kindly offered to pay for my coffee when I only had a card and no cash. That gesture really warmed my heart—thank you! ☺️☺️
I love Gleaner’s! Their coffee is great and their sandwiches are extremely tasty. The bagels are toasted perfectly. Get “The Gleaner” sandwich! ? The staff is very kind and I enjoyed looking at the local art for sale covering the walls as well.
Best coffee in south Philly, and they have a restroom for patrons to use! Check out Molly's across the street for used books and records. Never got food, but their treats look nice.
