A really good small Italian place. This was our first time here and thought the food was amazing. Gnocchi is my girlfriend's favorite, so she was happy about all the options for her here. My chicken parm was also delicious. It was a bit noisy overall, but that's not a huge deal.
Came here on a Tuesday with a monthly supper club. They offered a pre fixe for $50/person since we were more than 5 people. It was a perfect amount of awesome food, great variety, and we still got to order our own entrees, which were spectacular. Everyone had a clean plate. The desserts were great too. Service was five stars. They’re hall of fame in my book.

Hadn't been back 25 years. It was just as good. Feels like a gem stuck in time.
They made my husband's birthday dinner very successful and festive with the chefs table menu.
We came in as a 2-top around 7 PM on a Saturday night with no reservation and were seated quickly, which was such a pleasant surprise. The staff went above and beyond—not only were they incredibly friendly and welcoming, but they even made sure to put our order in ahead of the larger parties so we wouldn’t be stuck waiting. The whole atmosphere felt warm and family-like, the kind of place where you immediately feel at home. The food was great, but the service was truly exceptional. We left already talking about when we’d be back. Highly recommend!

We were seeing a show at the TLA and searched online for a restaurant within walking distance for 8 of us and Gnocchi fit the criteria. It had stellar reviews and the menu looked delicious so we decided to give it a try and we're SO glad that we did! The food was fantastic and we loved that it was a BYOB. Gnocchi dish is the best (as it should be as the name of the restaurant) with so many varieties and the grilled chicken was perfectly seasoned. Meatballs and linguine Alfredo were also superb. We will definitely return!
⭐☆☆☆☆
Our recent dining experience at this restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. It took 45 minutes for bread to be served, and when it finally arrived, it was a dried-out roll. The wait for our entrées was nearly two hours, and several items were missing or incorrect when they arrived. One dish was served without pasta, which took another 40 minutes to correct, and another entrée arrived without the shrimp, which required an additional 40-minute wait.
Throughout the evening, staff did not appear particularly concerned about the delays, which added to the frustration. On a positive note, the gnocci and lamb ragù were both excellent. However, the chicken piccata and chicken marsala were overcooked and extremely dry, to the point of being inedible.
Additionally, the restaurant appeared to be understaffed, as dishes were left piling up on our table with no one attending to them. We were there for well over three hours, which is unacceptable. Overall, the service and food quality did not meet expectations, and I would not return based on this experience.

The pasta was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn’t live up to that standard. The chicken was quite dry and lacking in flavor.
The restaurant itself felt uncomfortably crammed, with tables packed too close together. To make matters worse, the service was extremely slow — it took nearly two hours for our food to arrive. By the time we finally ate, we were more frustrated than hungry.
Overall, while the pasta alone was a highlight, the long wait, cramped atmosphere, and disappointing chicken made it hard to enjoy the evening. I hope they can work on improving their service and pacing, because the food has potential.

We came in on October 30 for our fifth wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the bruschetta and mushroom antipasti, and two different gnocchi dishes: lamb ragu and bolognese. We also had coffee and the limoncello cake for dessert. Everything was molto bene and the owner came over with limoncello on the house — just like we experienced in Italy earlier this year. It brought me so much joy. Grazie!

I am writing this review as an Italian who lives in the area and moved here after spending the first part of my life in southern Italy. Massimo, whom I assume is the owner, was very nice during the brief time he interacted with us; he had a very welcoming, pleasant presence. Now, the rest of the experience.
Our server was not very knowledgeable about the dishes. I asked what the dishes named “carciofi” (artichokes in Italian) and “melanzane” (eggplant in Italian) were. The server, while seemingly frustrated by the questions, was unable to describe them other than by the English translation of the word and the color of the sauce. The “melanzane” was actually rolled eggplant with ricotta, covered with tomato sauce, basil and, for some reason, parsley. While subpar, it turned out to be the better part of the meal.
We also got the gnocchi alla bolognese and the linguine cacio e pepe. I’m not sure there was actually cacio in the cacio e pepe, as the flavor of the cheese was almost absent. The sauce, aside from the pepper, was mostly oil, garlic, a single tomato and, for some reason, parsley, all unexpected for this dish. The gnocchi, although advertised as potato-based, tasted and felt more like flour-based dumplings. The “bolognese”, a dish close to my roots, lacked the meat and character to be called that; it was almost a glorified tomato sauce, similar to one from a supermarket. To top it off, on the gnocchi alla bolognese there was, for some reason, a big chunk of parsley, impossible to mix into the dish.
The dessert tray did not look appealing, which matched the look of the individual desserts, so we passed. We were essentially forced to order two entrées to avoid a $6 “sharing fee,” a first for me. The meal totaled around $75 for two people, an ironically great price considering the amount of parsley throughout the dinner. I was quite disappointed tonight; a friend recommended this place not long ago, and I hope this was just an off night.
P.S. A truly Italian restaurant should pay more attention to the spelling on the menu and any signage around the establishment.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food! The atmosphere was amazing! The meatballs were decent - they were different because they are ground chicken and beef. We did a taste testing and we enjoyed the entrees and the bruschetta was 10/10! Will definitely come back! Service was exceptional! Atmosphere was relaxing and quaint! We live gnocchi!
