We loved the drinks here and very refreshing.

Awful experience. We went there during the BOGO day. We first confirmed with the lady at the counter that this store is participating in the BOGO event today. She said yes. We then proceed with “Can I get a BOGO pearl milk tea?….” She confirmed with me the 70% sugar and less ice, I checked out.

Shortly after, I received only one drink. She looked confused like she didn’t know why the other person made only one drink when I asked for my second drink. The other lady who made the drink came over and straight up “Nothing we can do. You didn’t select the reward on the screen.” The way she said it, you can tell she had said the exact same sentences multiple times and knew exactly what happened and still didn’t bother to jump in and help.

I ordered directly from the staff with clear instructions that I’m looking to get the BOGO. The staff didn’t say anything about what I needed to do on the screen. Next thing I saw on the screen was to swipe my card which I did. And you are telling me it’s my fault you didn’t place my order correctly or even tried to give proper instructions?

This is really poor customer experience. Not following the SOP to confirm with customer before checking out, and no acknowledgment or service recovery provided after the mistake was made. Probably the worst place in the entire Chinatown.

I am only one customer to Gong Cha but I am sure there are more out there who had the same experience from your team members’ carelessness, and you are losing loyal customers that you don’t realize. Really a shame. Oh, I didn’t even mention I asked for less ice and got no ice, too.

Gong Cha is the go to tea spots regardless of where I am at. I always get their earl grey milk tea with white pearls. At this establishment there is no seating and it's a quick service to grab and go. Our barista was super friendly and patient. Would recommend going again.

Love gong cha. Like that the tea flavor is so much more profound than other bubble tea shops. The Christmas holiday cup is so cute. Theres no seating inside, just quick service to take away.

This gong cha location is very small with no seats inside. Service is always fairly quick, even when the line goes out the door. My favorite is the Stawberry milk tea and I always request it less sweet!

The drinks I’ve gotten to date are great and rather unique: the pineapple cold foam was refreshing. The lemon ai-yu also refreshing and has an interesting texture. My only suggestion would be to have more simple drinks - like fruit teas - but might not fit with their brand, but otherwise a nice one in a while treat!

Best service and drink options for bubble tea anywhere. Their recipes cannot be beat.

Got my black milk tea with tapioca bubbles I love it. Sugar as I asked and not too much ice. It's worth every penny.

Ordered a milk foam tea, milk tea, and a brown sugar tea. All with earl gray base.
All the teas had an incredibiley strong soapy/perfume taste and after taste. It tasted like drinking a bottle of perfume. Would not recommend.

For the best black milk foam tea in the city, try a la mousse.

We came in to order boba tea. We were ordering but while we did we asked him to make sure everything was correct just for him to have a terible attitude. We got our boba tea and we orderd 2 pearl milk tea one tasted fine . the other one, there was no sugar it tasted terrible. He forgot to add the sugar. So a terrible attitude and terrible service. The boba tea was terrible. It is bitter and lack of effort. And some old lady and her grandson came in and he acted all postive and sweet. If you want to find a good boba shop this one isn’t it unless you want a bad attitude than sure go ahead.
