This is the first time that we have been there. My girlfriend is Haitian and was looking for some good Haitian food. She said the food is authentic. I really enjoyed it. That’s the first time I’ve had Haitian food. The people that worked there are very nice. And the owner came to the table and spread some wonderful cheer. We will definitely be returning!
The food was delicious. I ordered the rasta pasta w/ chicken and shrimp and the Honey hot wings(They give you the whole wing which i loved) The atmosphere was cool and relaxed. I'll definitely be coming back to try out something else on the menu.
Everything was delicious. They provided great portions.
This was my second time having Hatian food but OMG!! Every dish on my plate was amazing from the ox tails and gravy, rice, plantain and even the pickliz. Will definitely be back soon, such a hidden gem.
Really kind staff. Food was AMAZING and the space is really nice inside. Very welcoming overall.
I came in town from Maryland for a conference and stopped at Gou to eat with my hubby & son. Hubby is Haitian and we make it a point to look for Haitian restaurants everywhere we travel. Gou did not disappoint. Customer service and ambiance was in point. Kudos for making us feel welcome from the moment we entered. The food was well seasoned, hot & plentiful. My plantains were remade to be thin & crispy like I like them. Hubby & son had griot and I had the fried snapper. Excellent! If we are ever in the area again, we will be back.
Worst place to eat at. We waited 2hrs for our food and after an hour waiting they told us they were out of Mac n cheese. The waiter is not attentive, has an attitude, and no patience. The lemon drop drinks are horrible. We came from NY for an occasion and chose this place, smh!!! The $300 dollar bill was not worth it!
Food was awesome! So much flavor, large portion sizes, and rice and fish were so tender. I had the salmon platter and it was very good. There’s also a live DJ who plays music on weekend evenings as well as a bar.
Just got something small but just what I got I will be coming back! Beautiful atmosphere and even more the food is beyond delicious!!!! And they are super friendly and welcoming ! 1000/10 stars if I could
The best service and food I had in a while .. it’s also a vibe in here

When I tell you I finally found a Haitian restaurant that resembles close to home, please believe me! My bestie put me on to this place after seeing it on the news! The food is A1. The customer service is amazing. Sara is an amazing cook! She is so sweet. The fried goat, black rice and mac and cheese are amazing!! Love this place and I highly recommend. This is my go to spot on Fridays and the weekends. You can tell the food is cooked with love and authentic ingredients! Please support this restaurant! You will not be disappointed!
