The walk in waiting to be seating is the most annoying thing about this place, especially when its seemingly not busy, you will most likely have to take matters in your own hands and just walkin and find out why you are standing when it’s plenty seats available, other then that the food is amazing. Not sure if they just need more employees..

This was my first time at G.E.C and it certainly won't be my last. The vibes and esthetics were amazing. It was just opening but the food was on fire. It was delicious. I had steak and eggs and it was temperature correctly and seasoned to perfection.... first time eating steak I didn't want any A1 sauce. My bf had the CURE skillet and boy oh Boy it was THE CURE!!! That shit was delicious cause u know I couldn't help myself and just eat MY food. Lol. Leftovers.. yep we took those too. The neighborhood was in Philly Gayborhood section.. it was perfectly located with a parking area directly across the street. No need to circle the block if u come early enough. It's not far from the Kimmel Center either so we took a stroll and got some sites in as well. I'd definitely recommend a visit there.. alone or with friends. I plan to go back with a group to recelebrate my birthday!! Delicious!!!!

Food was excellent, service was okay they would check in here and there but the food makes up for the service. We ordered the creme brulee French toast, lemon blueberry French toast, short rib Benedict, and the kitchen. All 10/10. Be aware they charge your a service fee and it’s cash only as well.

This was probably one of the most delicious breakfast I’ve had. Also it was beautifully presented. I wish I lived closer to it! Definitely gonna go back!!!

Sad that they didn’t have the snickers French toast but still a great meal!

Very tasty and yummy food! I had the rose latte, and it was absolutely delicious—floral, smooth, and perfectly sweet. Just a heads-up: be prepared to use cash, as they don’t take cards. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Green Eggs Café is a solid spot for a quick and tasty brunch with friends or family. I always go for the Crème Brûlée French Toast—it’s super filling and absolutely delicious. Definitely a must-try if you like sweeter brunch options.

This time I also had the Pineapple Mimosa—really tasty and a little strong, which I didn’t mind at all.

It does get pretty packed inside since they don’t take reservations. We waited about 15 minutes for a table for four, which wasn’t bad. It’s definitely on the louder side, but the energy and vibe actually made it feel fun and lively.

Overall, a great brunch spot I’d recommend if you’re in Philly.

Great breakfast! Super friendly and inviting service and wonderfully delicious food led to a great meal here. I had the Fried Chicken Benedict. Everything about it was perfect and I highly recommend it. They also have a variety of mimosas.
I highly recommend this place. However, the one downside is that it's cash only. I had to run back to get my wallet to take money out of the ATM in house.

Service was great. The food was great as well, I wish it came out hot vs warm. By the time our food got to the table it was pretty much cold.

Next time I’ll order to go so I can have my food hot like I like it.

I was not impressed with the service. We got sat down right away but the servers took forever getting our order and getting our foods and drinks. It felt like they forgot us. They were people that came in around the same time as us and they left way before us.

I ordered the crème brûlée French toast which tasted good but not like crème brûlée. The strawberry matcha was not it either but hey, I’m at a breakfast spot. Also, when I went to use the restroom, I heard an inappropriate conversation with the servers gossiping about newly arrivals working in the kitchen. Overall, the food and service could be better.
