I visited this Green Eggs Cafe on Monday as I was in Philly for the day. Although my food was amazing, the service was AWFUL!! So much so that I cannot recommend this location. When I arrived at the restaurant, it was relatively empty. Despite this, service was exceptionally slow and I was largely ignored the majority of my time at this establishment. It even took 20 minutes to pay for my food. I could not locate my waiter so I attempted to pay the hostess who rudely said I needed to wait for my server return.

Prices are steep but the quality of the food is on point. The crème brûlée French toast was sublime

I love the oatmeal here, buttttt Very small portion of oatmeal for $10 it was literally a couple scoops. Waitress in the beginning was sort of rude, when I got my oatmeal it was solid cold, disappointed

I placed a large catering order for a Birthday Brunch this past weekend and everything was flawless. The catering manager, Jeannine, was so patient with me and a huge help when it came time to place the order. The food was absolutely delicious and received raved reviews from the guests (we ordered scrambled eggs, thick cut bacon, sausage, crème brûlée French toast and breakfast potatoes). Portions were very generous. Pickup was easy and staff were extremely pleasant. I will definitely be using them for catering again!

Good portions, reasonably priced and fast service. I recommend going there on the earlier side.

We happened to be on the Temple University campus and were looking for breakfast. We are slightly more than familiar with "Green Eggs" and took the short trip over to Brewerytown to visit one of our favorite breakfast spots.

The one drawback is the violent noise level. Not just loud, uncomfortably loud.

Even with the noise.....

Green Eggs Cafe is a brunch superhero.

Food is okay and overpriced. Every time I go, the food doesn't seem tasty anymore, and the home fries look like they came out of a bag. Whatever happened to the real potatoes cut up and fried with green and red peppers. I probably won't be going back.
Pancakes were dry and crunchy, and the waitress asked well after she gave me my order, did I want butter....ahh yes ma'am, please, and thank you

The food was good portions and came out hot but the waitstaff and the hostess are Mexican and act like the don't here you or ignore you when you attempt to get there attention.

My first time here, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The ambiance was captivating with the open brick. The staff was friendly, and our server, Juan, ensured we had everything we needed. We even met the manager, Dave, who too came by the table twice to make sure nothing was needed. The food was absolutely amazing. I'm looking forward to returning.
