I came like two years ago and food and service were very good but for my birthday the service 👎🏾 and the ice water was dirty I’m talking a lot of things just floating in it my daughter cup of water had ice and hair. We bought it to the attention of our waiter and she said yea the ice machine is broken but they we’re still giving ppl in the restaurant ice In all their drinks

Green Eggs Cafe doesn’t tell you that you have to pay in cash until you’re finished eating. There no “cash only” signs on the doors or the tables and the waiter that had been assisting us for about a hour only waited until I put my card down with the check to tell me I have to use their ATM and pay them cash. They also automatically add an 18% mandatory tip on your bill, even though we were just 2 people who ordered less than $90 worth of food. Mandatory tips are usually reserved for large parties. I always tip at least 20% so the tip being forced rubbed me the wrong way & they got the exact change. It’s completely predatory. I’d rather not feel scammed when just going out to eat with a friend. Also the ‘no-warning, cash-only’ scheme seems like tax fraud but that’s just my opinion. The food was not bad, but the experience really overshadowed that.

I recently visited the Green eggs Cafe and I must say I was very unhappy.The service was okay, but I was not pleased with the overall food what I ordered was not thoroughly cooked the inside of the French toast was very soggy and wet and it came out extremely cold, My bacon was overcooked, none of the fruit taste like it was in season everything was pretty sour and tart. Overall I was very disappointed I spoke to the manager who did not offer really a solution and was not very helpful. Had I known that they were under new management I probably never would have gone I won't be returning what a disgusting experience and a new manager leaves a lot to be desired I must say and I'm really trying to be polite and nice.

I can't stop thinking about this place. We had the special called the kitchen sink or something similar to that. It was like suped up biscuits and gravy. Man it was so good. The music, staff and atmosphere was awesome too. They were accommodating for our large party including a baby. Definitely will go back when I visit Philly again.

I’m visiting my daughter, I from New York she recommended this place. So we went for brunch on a Saturday, our server was pleasant with no issues. But the manager was very rude. We had issues with our food. We just paid and took our unpleasant food and left. Not a good look for someone coming from out of town with family…

They told me they only accept Cash im 35 years old I don't mind cause I usually do but I was with my GRANDMA and Mom they don't carry cash on them like that and I don't remember that being a Policy when I went years back.
