Atmosphere is basic. It's fine.

Cappuccino was a little hot. Not frothed well. Texture of microwaved milk. Roast was pretty decent at least. Overall... fine.

By no means a bad experience. Just not an espresso place I would intentionally visit again. But... fine.

This is my favorite bagel / sandwich / lunch place in all of South Philly. Their food is SO GOOD. And the pickup experience is always seamless. Such a big fan!

I had high hopes for this place because of how cute the outside is. The coffee was subpar because my hot dirty chai and iced mocha just tasted like espresso. I was hoping for some spiced flavor. The long sandwiches were kind of mid and bland. I had to drench my sandwich in hot sauce for some flavor. Compared to all the cafes in Philly, I just know there’s a few with better coffee and sandwiches.

Also, there were a lot of flies in the seating area, although it was inside and in the back. I did like how each table had a cup of cute questions to ask your companions.

This has been my favorite coffee shop on passyunk! Food is delicious too!

the zagel (pretzel bagel) bacon egg and cheese is the best breakfast sandwich in the city. yes, better than middle child.

I can't say enough good things about Ground Up. The coffee is always delicious, baked goods are always fresh and tasty, and their chicken salad is incredible – seriously, it does not miss. Everyone working there is always pleasant and so helpful, and the owner, Jen is just lovely too.

The attitude of the woman at the front desk is horrid. As the first person the guest sees you are supposed to serve as the ambassador to your establishment. This is a poor representation then. I think after this experience it would be best to start this place from the Ground

The best of the best, small quiet cozy little spot on one of the most popular streets in the city ! The atmosphere is calming and the food is amazing. I never liked avocado toast until I tried theirs as well as many of the many options on the menu. I never ordered anything and regretted it, their specialty coffees out of this world! Definitely worth every penny !

A cute coffee shop with a cozy vibe in my neighborhood. I love the music playlist. All the staff are friendly and sweet. The coffee is delicious, and the parfait is yummy. It’s my new spot to get my work done
