They have amazing sandwiches, delicious coffee, and they are dog-friendly. My son and I enjoy coming here, always friendly.

coffee is good, place is cute, staff is nice. but $18 for a chicken caesar with 2 boiled eggs, 3 croutons, and not enough dressing for the salad is criminal. should be a federal offense

This review is solely based on the owner , her setvice and the food. Uber Eats completely messed up my order.
I was too injured to pick up my order myself, so called the store to try and straighten it out. The owner listened, remade my order, and made sure it got to me in spite of the rude (first) Uber driver. Tasty food, and even included an extra treat for the inconvenience. I would actually stop by here in person, based on her service .

Horrible customer service. I work nearby and visited this shop twice. Both times greeted by Elizabeth, who greets me with no smile, very dismissive. They gave me hard time bc I asked for extra sugar because you can not modify your drink. “We don’t add sugar, because it’s sweet enough already. So we just have you guys ask for it on the side” It’s my preference so it shouldn’t matter if I’m willing to pay. The second time I came will be the last, walked to be greeted by Elizabeth with a straight face, I asked for liquid sugar, she respond “what?” I repeated “May I have a little more extra sugar added?” Elizabeth handed me the bottle and walked away. Horrible service she’s lucky I didn’t return the energy. Never returning again. PLEASE THINK TWICE ABOUT VISITING THIS SHOP IF YOU ARE BLACK!

UPDATE: Stopped in with my mom today while in the neighborhood. Honey lavender latte was amazing. And so was the BEC sandwich as always. Really appreciate the kind response to my last review and wanted to update my rating because this place is overall amazing! Thanks again

I live in Jersey but have a friend who owns a business up the road from this cafe. So anytime I’m in the area I’m excited to come in for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. The first time I was blown away by this place, it’s very nice with great options. Yesterday I went in and ordered the oat milk strawberry matcha with a BEC sandwich. The matcha was brown and tasted as awful as it looked. It was very watery, not creamy like an oat milk chai should be. And I guess the brown was from them mixing a strawberry syrup with the matcha. Wasn’t good at all, and when I asked the girl who made it if it was made with oat milk she just replied “yea”. I regret not asking them to remake it or swap for something different. I visibly was not enjoying it. But I will say that this place has the best BEC sandwich I’ve ever had and that says a lot.

We stopped by this spot today for breakfast and it did not disappoint! We had the classic breakfast, and also got the gluten-free egg sandwich. We also shared a blueberry muffin and sipped on some mochas — everything was delicious. The service was great, super friendly and attentive. Overall, just a really awesome experience. Highly recommend checking this place out especially for people looking for gluten free breakfast options.

Atmosphere is basic. It's fine.

Cappuccino was a little hot. Not frothed well. Texture of microwaved milk. Roast was pretty decent at least. Overall... fine.

By no means a bad experience. Just not an espresso place I would intentionally visit again. But... fine.

This is my favorite bagel / sandwich / lunch place in all of South Philly. Their food is SO GOOD. And the pickup experience is always seamless. Such a big fan!

I had high hopes for this place because of how cute the outside is. The coffee was subpar because my hot dirty chai and iced mocha just tasted like espresso. I was hoping for some spiced flavor. The long sandwiches were kind of mid and bland. I had to drench my sandwich in hot sauce for some flavor. Compared to all the cafes in Philly, I just know there’s a few with better coffee and sandwiches.

Also, there were a lot of flies in the seating area, although it was inside and in the back. I did like how each table had a cup of cute questions to ask your companions.
