Cashier was nice she helped me when I was lost as well as taking my order when I had no clue what to get. The egg sandwich was good too.
Matcha was not good, overpriced and small portions.
Omg this place is sooo cute. Lots of unique drink options I got a rose dirty chai latte it’s really yummy not too perfumey like rose sometimes is . The space is beautiful high ceilings, back patio, cozy and familiar. Rob took my order and he was so nice and friendly!! And gave good recommendations. i will definitely be back.

More local vibes and less commercial than larger coffee shops in the area. Because of that there’s more focus on quality. Especially the coffee. My go to coffee in Fishtown

In an area flooded with coffee shops, Gryphon Cafe stands out! Located in an old industrial space, it’s Very cozy! Stunning industrial building with a large open space with vintage couches to sit at. Nice music playing in the background and local art hanging on the walls. It’s a very enjoyable vibe & location to enjoy a coffee at.

I want to live hear. Great location in Fishtown. Friendly, helpful service. Cool warehouse vibe. Skip La Colombe and go to Gryphon like the locals

The lady at the register acted like I ruined her day by ordering a bagel. Smile, nod, and carry on like the rest of us do at work. Won’t be returning.

My breakfast sandwich was awesome and the coffee was nice and fresh. I got a regular coffee with almond milk and I love it. I also ordered the mushrooms eggs sandwich with tomato, arugula and it was good
The food and atmosphere are great. The staff is a bit cold and they did not know what some items were on the menu. Otherwise, it’s a pleasant place to get a cup of coffee and study. We got a hot chocolate, double espresso and two macarons (pistachio, and rosemary).

Good for coffee!
This place doesn’t open consistent. On March 24, 2025 I went there at 8AM and it was closed even tho it said it was open on maps. The location itself didn’t have signs explaining the situation either.
This was my first time at Gryphon cafe and it was incredible! I started with a hot rose chai latte and it had the perfect hint of rose. Both the avocado toast and lox toast were so fresh, and crafted so beautiful. I also tried the Apple danish and I highly recommend it. This place is all around a gem from the service to the food. I will definitely be making my way back here!
It’s a good spot. Coffee was good.

Staff was unknowledgeable about items. The menu said our breakfast came with a side of arugula and when we got our food it wasn’t there so we asked and they said they weren’t sure and seemed confused. Also sandwiches were very sub par. Despite fancy ingredients and elaborate presentation, the simple egg and cheese I make at home has more flavor. Wife was also unhappy about the total cost, mostly because none of the prices are noted on the menu so we really had no way of knowing what the total would be.
