From out of town grabbed take out. Place wasnt busy we were the only ones waiting up front. Kid that took our was dancing and singing having conversations with manager. He grabbed some orders placed them to the side of desk at front . We stood there the entire time never left after 30 mins of waiting my husband asked how much longer kid said name on order we didn’t even have to say it and said oh its right here I was looking for you guys. What a joke manager didn’t even apologize. Never again

I drove over an hour to High Dynasty after leaving the hospital, just wanting to sit and eat comfortably. There were about ten people in a restaurant with over 100 open seats, yet when I asked for a four-top for myself and my partner, the manager refused.

He claimed we “needed three people” to sit at a four-top — even though the place was nearly empty. The two-top he tried to force us into was cramped and had nowhere for my bag. His tone was cold, dismissive, and condescending, even after I mentioned I’d just come from the hospital.

The way he selectively enforced a policy in an almost empty restaurant made the experience feel racially biased and completely unwelcoming.

And what’s sad is that he had no idea who he was speaking to. I was actually considering bringing my staff of 40 here for a team appreciation event — money, support, and repeat business. After today’s treatment, that will not be happening.

High Dynasty needs to seriously address their customer service and the discriminatory attitude shown toward guests. I will not be returning.

Awesome food! I always go for spicier options. My favorites are dry pepper chicken, and lamb cumin style.

Drinks are OK. Some of the options are pretty creative.

Atmosphere: OK. This location gets bisy with younger groups. But I am OK with it.

Parking has always been easy around here.

Been here twice and the food never disappoints! Definitely some of the best Sichuan cuisine in University City. A solid spot overall.

Every dish that I've ordered is always delicious. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Jules who runs the bar is always great and makes terrific drinks.

We went there yesterday and were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived! The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was wonderful — cozy, friendly, and full of good energy. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I got their beef soup, which is good. It normally comes not spicy, which would have been great because I’m sick but they gave me spicy. The rest of the meal was mid for the price.

They increase the prices when you order online for delivery rather than pickup which is kind of lame since they don't even use their own driving staff. Paid $50 for 3 things and all 3 things were just ok - chicken fried rice, dan dan noodles, and chicken dumplings. The flavors you want out of these dishes were secondary to the flavor of salt and didn't love the texture of the chicken in the fried rice. It was ready quickly for dinnertime hours on a Friday night and I appreciated the option to not include utensils with the order. Overall it was not worth the $50, unsure if we would order from here again.
