Great lunch counter. I had the corned beef on rye special. The meat was sliced paper thin, piled high with cole slaw and Russian dressing as a rye bread sandwich, served with Goods potato chips and a drink, I chose Coke 0. The server was attentive and the food was prepared quickly. Very tasty. Will eat here again when I'm in Center City.

First time coming here in a long time and had the rudest experience. The girl was obviously working by herself at 8:30am so I wasn't going to say anything about her not seeing me standing at the takeout side. But the guy working the other counter clearly saw me, looked me in my face multiple times, didnt say anything like, she'll be with you in a moment and didn't tell her I was standing on the takeout side. There's obviously an obstruction between the two sides. So I did tell her your partner saw me and walked away, she of course advised that she was in charge of the take out side. I said, oh he couldn't let you know I was standing here? One of these sandwiches going to be on the house? (I watched him go walk around, he got a cup of ice then went to the freezer). She brushed me off twice as if my concern didn't matter. I wasn't mean about it, no raised voices nor anything and I even smiled. It would have been nice not to be ignored. When I tried again to be like hey are you going to let him know, the girl brushed me off again. I should have just left the sandwiches since I hadn't paid for them yet. When I see someone waiting I always at least acknowledge their presence and ask them to wait because I know my partner usually can't see the person at the window because of things obstructing their view. What happen to curtesy??

We had the corned beef and smoked turkey combos, and all of it was delicious! Quality ingredients put together in the perfect proportions for a completely satisfying meal. The service was also fast and friendly, making for a perfect experience. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

I asked for a Corn Beef Special on Rye bread and this is what I got, a hamburger bun. I'm very disappointed and I'll not be going back there again.
