Our server was lovely. Food was good. But my stomach started hurting on my way home and I almost didn’t make it to the bathroom in time. I had the French toast with the whipped cream on top.
My two other friends had pieces of it, they both got sick within the half hour after leaving. Glad I was stocked up on toilet paper.

Staff more people on your peak business hours! These poor waiters had to literally dash around to cover everyone, so I don’t blame the poor service on them. I tipped 20%, but the service was hardly worthy of 5%. 90 minutes in the restaurant, 20 minutes of actual eating, the rest was just waiting. Waiting to order, waiting for food, waiting for the check, waiting for the check to be picked up so I can get the hell out.

This was our first time dining at Hawthornes but we will definitely return. I enjoyed my matcha latte and chicken and waffles very much! Our server (Cassie?) was charming and checked in on us to make sure we had what we needed. We were seated on the sidewalk on a gorgeous weekend day and got in some great people watching too!

Place used to be great. Has completely gone down the toilet. The cook just must not give a shit because I’d be embarrassed to serve the quality of the chicken salad sandwich that I just received. My dog wouldn’t eat it.

I went to Hawthornes and met an old friend there. We were both served incredible meals in a beautiful restaurant. I would absolutely go back there again. Our waitress, Lujan, was delightful!

Horrible. Bacon was microwaved, French toast was blackened on one side and not cooked on the other. Eggs came out with mystery ingredients not listed on the menu making them inedible to some of the table with allergies. Glasses were dirty. Drinks were good and our server was fantastic

Always a good time at Hawthorne's. Been coming here for years and years. Never disappoints. Recently I've been taking myself there on cute lunch dates and sitting outside. Great people watching, great location, great service. My go to is a glass of Prosecco and the BLT. It's the best BLT I've ever had (I eat a lot of BLTs). The bacon is thick cut and crispy. The mayo to bacon tomato ratio is suspiciously perfect every time so I'm not sure how they do it but I don't ask questions. I'm sorry I don't have a picture of the BLT, because I inhale it immediately and there is no time for pics. I usually get a genuine compliment from staff when I am there; not sure if it's me deserving the compliment or them just being delightful as always. They have great cocktails; get the French 75, they do it right. Overall, solid neighborhood haunt. Good vibes, good people, good food, good drinks. Just a good time! Thanks for the consistently awesome service over the years and keep up the great work.
