I was so excited to dine at Her Place Supper Club. The food, ambiance and service were exactly what I expected. I can only give 4 stars on food, however, because the scallops had grit in them. I thought it was just my dish and didn’t want to complain, but on the way home, my friend told me her scallops had grit too. That’s a shame. Other than that, it was a fantastic dining experience.

My daughter took me to Her Pace Supper Club in Philadelphia last night (11/20/24) as an early Christmas present. By the time the Berkshire pork (the main dish) arrived I was salivating. I can't begin to express my total disappointed in the pork. It was all of fat! In my haste to get a nnice taste of the meat I place the first piece in my mouth and started to chew you can imagine my horror when all I tasted almost fat. I discreetly deposited the fatty meat into my napkin. Think it was just a piece I tenderly selected more me to discover that the majority of the meat was fat. I mentioned it to the waiter and he had really no comment about it. My daughter spent a lot of money one last night's Neil which of the greasy taste in my mouth. The highlight of the meal was a dessert a decadent chocolate pie with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream atop The deliciousness. I would definitely think twice about going again especially since the meal is very expensive.

What a disappointment the entire Her Place Supper Club tasting menu experience turned out to be. The setting—a dimly lit, overly warm space with poor air circulation—already lacked the ambiance for a refined culinary evening. Yet, my hopes remained fixed on the food. Sadly, this too proved underwhelming. Not a single dish captivated or inspired; every flavor felt frustratingly familiar, bordering on the mundane. The chef’s narratives before each course set an expectation for creativity and flair, only for it to crumble with the very first bite. It was a letdown of the highest order—a truly unfortunate experience.

What a delight! Four of us dined at Her Place Supper Club last night in celebration of my wife's birthday. Despite my wife having a zero shellfish requirement, and both crab and mussels prominently featured on the fixed menu for the night, the staff at Her Place ensured my wife had a spectacular experience! Amanda's team is as good as it gets in Philly (on par with Vetri Cucina and Osteria's outstanding teams), so stop reading and make your reservation now!

One of the best fine dining experiences Philly has to offer! Reservations are incredibly hard to get as the place seats under 30, and only has two seatings a night. I recommend trying to go for a weekday, as even when I waited on the spot for the release dates, I could not snag a weekend or a Friday. I got lucky, and was able to book this for my husband’s birthday on a Tuesday. This is a great place for special occasions!

The setting is intimate, and you get to watch the chef cook. They also explain every dish as it comes out, and where the food is from. The atmosphere is eclectic with mismatching chairs, antique silverware, and vintage china plates. It gives it a whimsical, and magical vibe. The servers are so attentive and kind. They also are highly knowledgeable about the food.

The food was incredible! They change the menu every two weeks, and it is served in courses. While they asked if we have any allergies, this does not seem like the spot for picky eaters as the menu is set. The best dish we had was the tomato salad. The tomatoes were fresh, and peeled. I still think about how amazing that salad is over a month later. The only dish I was not a fan of were the clams that were an add on. They did not taste that fresh. They weren’t bad, but compared to the rest of the meal, they did not stack up.

Overall, I cannot wait to have another special occasion to come back. This was such a great meal!

This was one of the most unique dinner experiences ever.

I figured it was a dinner and a 'show'.

The head chef introduced herself and the team and explained what the night would look like.

There was a set menu which is changed every 2 weeks to guarantee freshness and a nice experience for people that dine there. They also had 2 add-ons which you're welcome to complete your dining experience with, and we totally added it and no regrets.

Interestingly enough, this would be the first and last time we ever taste this menu as it will be shortly changed.

Everything was so mouthwateringly delicious, and each ingredient was carefully plated for each dish. The ladies and gentlemen, know what they're doing and you can tell in the preparation and heart and soul in this restaurant.

The night ended with a mini sourdough chocolate chip cookie and complimentary Chex Mex rendered in duck fat. Just

Definitely would come back again. Your tastebuds will thank you.
