It was an unforgettable dinner. The moment I stepped inside, I felt as if I had been invited to a close friend’s or family member’s home for a warm, intimate meal. The space is small, cozy, and wonderfully personal. The two chefs prepared and served each course with perfect timing, offering fresh, beautifully crafted dishes one after another without a single moment of dullness.

It was a joy not only to taste the food but also to watch the careful, thoughtful preparation behind every plate. The flavors were excellent, the progression of courses felt seamless, and I left with that perfect feeling of satisfied fullness.

There is no doubt that this restaurant fully deserves its Michelin one-star rating. A truly memorable dining experience.

The only thing I found disappointing was that, although I mentioned it was our wedding anniversary when making the reservation, nothing was acknowledged at all. The staff’s prepared guests’ birthday cakes, special party hats, cards and even a moment where the lights were turned off so everyone in the room could celebrate together. In contrast, our table didn’t receive even a simple mention of our anniversary.

Best dining experience in Philly and this is coming from a Philly resident. Everything was perfectly seasoned, the music selection was fabulous, the ambiance was lovely, the service was top notch, and the dishes were creative and absolutely delicious. Super seasonal and fresh. Highly recommend!

We love pre fixe and Her Place serves up one of the best in the city. The dishes were a great mix of flavors from the salads to the main fish dish. While the decor isn't high end the vide given off by both staff and guests raised the experience to 5 Stars.

Very cute little spot and more casual than I thought it would be for the price range. All ingredients are fresh. I don't recommend reserving the chef's counter - it's very small and the staff need to almost squeeze through in back of you, and you can see the kitchen from most of the tables anyway so it's not too special other than getting a little extra treat at the end.

Where do I begin...Dining at Her Place Supper Club was such a lovely experience! It was warm, inviting, and intimate. The food was outstanding, incredibly flavorful yet light, which is a difficult balance to strike. There were seven courses in total and I was SO full by the end, but it was worth every single bite!

As we transitioned from course to course, the chefs stopped to talk us through the ingredients used and the inspiration for each dish. All ingredients were locally sourced and in season, so everything and I do mean everything, tasted incredibly fresh. My favorite dishes were the summer panzanella and the Chitarra all'Amatriciana. Lastly, the service was excellent and a special thanks goes out to Natalie for making me feel so welcome.

In short, if you're in Philly, dining at Her Place is a MUST!

This was a special experience!
We enjoyed the description of each dish by the chefs and appreciate that most of the ingredients are sourced from local farms and vendors.
The menu changes every 3 weeks and there are no substitutions. They’re open Mon-Fri, with 26 seats, and 2 seatings, so reservations aren’t easy to get.
The energy was great and the food was excellent! I highly recommend!

Wow!!!!! Our dinner here exceeded all expectations. We had wanted to dine here since we moved to Philly and finally had the chance last night for my husband’s birthday. The food was absolutely incredible and the staff could not have been kinder. This is clearly a group of people who are passionate about what they do! I can’t even fathom the amount of creativity and planning it takes to change the menu every three weeks.

Lovely experience, good food, fun concept. Note that there will be “additional items” on the menu that you can purchase in addition to your pre fix price/menu and everyone orders them…

One of the best meals and most unique dining experiences in the city. From the start of the meal to the end, the details were incredible and made the experience. Delicious, seasonal food; too notch friendly service.

Beautiful Concept, Underwhelming Execution

I had high hopes for Her Place Supper Club, the concept is so appealing: a set menu served in a warm, intimate setting that blurs the line between chef’s table and dinner at a friend’s home. I went for a birthday dinner and was excited for something a little different.

To be fair, some parts were. A few of the dishes were lovely — the lamb leg salad in particular stood out — and there was clear care and creativity behind the menu. But overall, the evening didn’t quite live up to expectations, especially for the price point.

The biggest disappointment was the fettuccine supplement. At $27 per person, it felt like it should have been a showstopper, but it ended up being a very small (single... read: 1) plate of good pasta that simply didn’t justify the cost. Portion sizes throughout the meal skewed small, which might have been fine at a lower price point — but at around $250 per person with drinks, I left feeling a bit puzzled and a smidge insulted.

Service from the open kitchen was warm, inviting, and chock full of personality, but the front-of-house team felt rushed and impersonal, which clashed with the intimate “supper club” vibe I was hoping for. The wine pairing generally worked well, but missed hard on the dessert course with an amaro that overpowered rather than complemented the final bite. I could live with that, but having empty glasses and such hanging out on the table that makes the portion sizes look generous while the three FoH members chat in the corner left me wondering what was going on.

I admire the ambition and creativity of Her Place, and I’m glad I got to experience it once. But I don’t think I’d go back, and I wish I’d had a clearer sense of what to expect going in. It’s a cool idea but one that, in practice, didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Love the vibes and the people. Chef sounds like a great person, is passionate, and is interactive. Love the concept of focusing and showcasing local ingredients. So 5/5 for vibes and concept. 3/5 (maybe lower actually) for the food. From a technical perspective, everything was cooked properly, just not super exciting. It was like nice homestyle cooking. Felt like stuff my mom used to make growing up or like a menu that you would have if you got together with friends for a potluck or Friendsgiving. The wine list by the glass was not great. My 50/50 martini was solid.

3 drinks between 2 people along with the tasting menu and 1 $27 add on of rabbit pasta and with tip was around $350 for 2 people. You just expect a little more at that price point. Still a good time and nice to check it out once.
