I was so excited to dine at Her Place Supper Club. The food, ambiance and service were exactly what I expected. I can only give 4 stars on food, however, because the scallops had grit in them. I thought it was just my dish and didn’t want to complain, but on the way home, my friend told me her scallops had grit too. That’s a shame. Other than that, it was a fantastic dining experience.
My daughter took me to Her Pace Supper Club in Philadelphia last night (11/20/24) as an early Christmas present. By the time the Berkshire pork (the main dish) arrived I was salivating. I can't begin to express my total disappointed in the pork. It was all of fat! In my haste to get a nnice taste of the meat I place the first piece in my mouth and started to chew you can imagine my horror when all I tasted almost fat. I discreetly deposited the fatty meat into my napkin....
Such a fun and unique experience. The entire experience was marked by an incredibly friendly, warm, and social atmosphere. The food was stellar, with multiple dishes wowing me (very rare)
