The only reason this place could have less than 5 stars is if maybe somebody not familiar with Reading Terminal Market was overwhelmed. I got a corned beef and my husband got a pastrami, we did half and half. The pastrami was a 10 out of 10, the corned beef changed my life. With the $7 validated parking in the garage, I'll be making many more trips from the burbs.

Stopped here while exploring Reading Terminal and I'm glad we did. Got the Pastrami Reuben and the Pastrami Rachel. Both were mind-blowing but I find myself constantly thinking about the Pastrami Rachel! The slaw just adds such a wonderful flavor profile!

This might be the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The pastrami sandwich was perfect in every way. It was perfectly seasoned and melt in your mouth tender, the bread had that ideal chew and flavor you only get from true deli craftsmanship, and the sauce tied everything together with subtlety and balance. Every element felt intentional, simple ingredients elevated by real skill. I will be craving this sandwich forever. Absolutely outstanding.

We’ve been dying to try the pastrami sandwich for weeks and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I’ll not deny I thought my husband was a little off his rocker when he wanted to stop at 9am…. Let me just say, hands down best pastrami sandwich we’ve ever had. Disappointed we only had one for breakfast. Can’t wait for come back for another round and try the brisket.

Hershels is the Best pick to eat when in Reading Terminal for me, I love the Corned Beef Reuben with Swiss cheese 😋. The customer service is always GREAT. The staff are very friendly and answer all your questions. I like to sit down and eat as I like when my sandwich is hot but I had to wait for a seat. There were a lot of people just sitting doing nothing and the one sitting area was closed.

Wasn't a pastrami person until I tried this one. It definitely has a WOW factor to it, and I would come here again in a heartbeat! The meat is exceptionally flavorful and tender.
