I used to really like this place but the past couple weeks I’ve ordered from here the sushi is lacking flavor, portions have been downsized, and the rice tastes older and drier. Same price though. Not sure if they got a new chef, or if they’re cutting costs but the taste is noticeable. Not sure if I’ll eat here again for a little while until things change. Maybe the just don’t care about the takeout as much anymore? But still not appropriate if that’s the case. Staff is nice and the place is nice too, but food has changed
Incredibly fresh sushi. I will definitely return.

One of the best sushi places in Philly, in my opinion, offers fresh fish and great creative sushi rolls. The service is good, with attentive waiters ensuring a pleasant experience. However, the restaurant is small, and the interior feels a bit older and could use some work. Despite these minor drawbacks, the quality of the sushi and service make it a must-visit spot for sushi lovers.

Went here for mom's birthday and the food and service were great! The carpaccio was amazing - they subbed with hamachi because they were out of kanpachi but it was DELICIOUS. Salmon ceviche was great and my spicy scallop roll was awesome.

Great sushi, decent prices, and really large portions! There's not much else you could ask for in a sushi spot. They also have some pretty good outdoor seating and a great staff.
The salad can easily serve two, their miso soup is rich and filling, the sushi itself is made with good quality ingredients as well. I also HIGHLY recommend the Chicken Terryaki, it's perfect in every way and very very filling.
10/10!

I ordered a combination sushi by door dash. It arrived with a white plastic piece rolled inside. I choked and it scraped my mouth. I spent over $55. I had to throw the rest in trash because I was afraid I would choke on the remaining dish.

Amazing Japanese food - fish was as fresh as could be, creative dishes, beautiful presentation, welcoming staff, top-tier experience. Chef/owner Matthew is extremely nice, knowledgeable of his craft and accommodating; he's willing to curate unique dishes for his guests, treated us like family.
