So upset that this place is now closed! Before it turned plant based, I would say this was the best spot to go for a burrito! I would get the sweet potato burrito and it was the best thing I ever had! It was large and the pricing was great! I am going to miss this place!

I'm not a fan of tacos but I had to make a stop to see why this place is so popular. Their soft tacos & what's in it was really, really good! Their fresh lemonade is to die for. I would definitely make this place my first stop the next time I visit Philly!

Drove 35 mins for 4 rice n bean burritos and let me say they were really good. However i can only give 1 star because the customer service was HORRIBLE. Not the most friendly environment to be in....absolutely no greeting...no may i help you....nothing. Doesn't matter how great the food is not worth the drive for the poor customer service.

Great place for a cheap bite. Very dissapointed to hear they'll be going vegan before the July 4th weekend. Hopefully they'll consider keeping the meat options on the menu.

Got the taco salad and 2 orders of biff tacos and both were missing ingredients, no salsa and no guacamole on the tacos and the salad missing black beans and salsa. Disappointed as I've loved it previously but since Tom's announcement of his departure I see this place isn't honest anymore. Bummer.

I loved my experience there, i will be returning tomorrow during my lunch break. I tried the roasted veggie burrito and i will be getting the same thing again tomorrow. I only wish they had coconut wraps available.

I recently started trying a plant based diet because I'm not 20 anymore and have to do adult things like watch my cholesterol. Rant aside, Honest Tom's tacos are so good! And you feeeel good after eating one, because they're clean! No oils, grease, or fat! If you're vegan or not, I would recommend this place! I'm sure you'll find something you'd enjoy. It might have taken some convincing to get the old ravenous meat eating me to eat a taco with walnuts as substitute for taco meat, but the new healthy eating me would eat here everyday if I could! My top taco picks are: chickpotle, sweet potato, biff and sweet potato. Go eat some and then feel good that you did something good for your body :D! Let's be honest, Tom's vegan tacos are the best!
Let's be honest, Tom. This charming little vegan taco shop is ok. It has a really small menu, but you can get tacos, burritos or a bowl. I had the Grilled Veggie and the Sweet potato, which were both alright in terms of flavor, but they had an honestly ridiculous amount of juices spilling out of them. I don't mind a little bit of juice, but these were literally served in a puddle of mystery juice (which in turn made everything very soggy). It is an adorable little place, but I wouldn't go back.

Nachos were yummy! My non vegan bf loves them too! I got the chickpea burrito and I was not a fan of it at all. It had a weird taste to it. I love chickpeas and incorporate them in almost every meal so I was surprised.I would probably try again but not go for that specific burrito.

Hands down the best burritos in West Philly. A lot of people wrote crappy reviews because Honest Tom's went vegan, but it's still incredible and a bargain. I've been eating these burritos for decades and they are just amazing! Don't believe the whiners who say "used to love it,but now it sucks" -half of them haven't even eaten there and they are just pissed that the best place to get Mexican doesn't serve meat any more. Babies. As a DJ, I've traveled all across the U.S. and these stand up to anything you'd find in L.A., San Francisco, Houston, Phoenix ...basically anywhere. Tom went vegan and isn't looking back so I think you should try it; you might find out that you like it anyway. ;-)
