Honey Truck @ Temple university

In my opinion, the best food on campus is the Honey Truck on 12th and Norris—and not just because it's close to the Tyler Building! No matter my mood, it's my go-to when I can't decide. Whether I need a quick latte to energize me, a boba pick-me-up to treat myself, or a shrimp burger to satisfy my hunger, the Honey Truck always delivers with something delicious! My only wish is that they wouldn't sell out so fast, haha!

The food is consistently great! This might be my favorite spot for lunch on Temples campus. Everything tastes so fresh, and they use high quality ingredients. I think they changed their fries, which are even better now!

I've been hearing about the Honey Truck avocado crispy chicken wrap for a long time. Finally decided to try it. The flavor profile is really good, an impressive balance of savory, sweet, and tangy. Texture is where I have some thoughts. The rich, fresh avocado is great. It's really the best thing about the sandwich. But the chicken was a little overcooked and not at all juicy--also, the chicken's breading is too thick and gets soggy because there's steam trapped inside the wrap. Bad choice to use baby greens on this, it wilts against the chicken and then it just tastes like paper; they should've used romaine or iceberg, so it would be crisp and refreshing. I'm not saying it's a bad sandwich. But it doesn't live up to the hype. Still, Honey is a great addition to the incredible selection of food trucks on Temple main campus. Better than any fast food restaurant or sandwich chain. Next time I'll try the shrimp burger. The fries were great, perfectly crispy and well seasoned.

I was visiting Temple University on this particular day, and I wanted to try multiple food trucks, but Honey Truck was hands down the best!
Easily blew everyone else away!

The food was AMAZING.
I got the Chicken and Waffles and the Rock Shrimp Burger and fries. OMG. Sooooo delicious!

I wish this was an actual restaurant so I could come in and dine in.

This is THE spot for food trucks. I can't wait until my next TU visit.

Yummy food truck

Used to love the chicken wrap, but the meat was overcooked, tough and chewy the past couple of times. Their shrimp and crab burgers are good though.

No wonder the meals are so exquisite and very un-American hahaha- Must-order No. 2 Crispy Avocado Chicken Wrap: It uses wrappers (other meals are burger-like bread). If you want to control your starch intake, you can order it:)) The chicken is very thick but not dry, and the skin is thin but crispy! It’s perfect with sweet and sour sauce and avocado! Usually girls feel full after eating half a meal (at least I do). He is really big!It’s $10 if you want fries, or $2 if you order a burger a la carteThe fries are very thick but dry and not that delicious. I suggest you just order them a la carte~- No.3 Rock shrimp burger $11: The homemade shrimp steak is real and delicious. It feels like eating a thick moon shrimp cake. I have been a loyal customer for them since my last semester. For almost every week multiple times a week I would order from them. I make sure to text my order so I dont have to wait in their horrendous lines, "can i have avocado chicken wrap no ranch please! thank you". You would think its simple, right? But they get my order wrong on so many occassions! I think it has been 3 times now and I don't know how. Its very upsetting that I have to walk all the way back to get my correct order. I cannot eat ranch. I can die if I do. But they sometimes seem to forget that I ordered no ranch and I have to come back. They gave me free fries the first time they made the mistake but after that no. Also, I ordered 2 chicken wraps one time, one for me and one for my boyfriend. And my boyfriends didn't even come with his own fries! Why did he spend the same amount of money as me to not get his own fries? Very confusing.

Great portions, fair prices, excellent shrimp burger. Their fries are delicious and travel well-meaning they stay hot and crispy, I guess, based on how they pack them since they are a food truck and serve mostly college students who are getting takeout. My friend got three crispy chicken burger and loved it, and it was big! Will go there again!
