Everything was hot and delicious. The wings and shrimp were fantastic and reminded me of back in the day Ocean City on the Ave.

Fake scallops, chicken was ok. Honestly it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Food came back up.. I shoulda took my money and got a chipotle bowl😂 and the lady at the counter with the glass eye has a lil attitude

The West Philly location doesn't taste the same as the SouthPhilly Hyons. The crabsticks tastes like bread and ketchup i didn't get that imitation crab meat taste here. The wings were ok but not like SouthPhilly Hyons, the panko is overpowering the taste of the food other than that the service was ok and the Macaroni salad was delicious.

So… West Philly is a staple for some good food. I grew up in West Philadelphia and remember coming to Hyon’s when I was a little girl with my mother. I have not been around this area since I was 10 years old. Coming back into the store smelling of hot fried chicken, fry fish and french fries fries was so nostalgic for me. Nothing has changed about the store not even the owners lol. The fish and the chicken which I always get, was so fresh and so good especially with salt, pepper, ketchup, and hot sauce. If you’re looking for good customer service and amazing food that’s easy on your pocket come to Hyon’s. I posted some videos and a picture of my food and both do not do this place any justice. The place may look like nothing but is very much something.

There was no way those scallops were real. The fries were just okay.

I lived in the area years ago and used to go there with my son.

Why don't business owners put money back into the business by adding a touch of paint or a new counter to make the business look and feel better for themselves and customers?

It seems like when well known establishments in the black community sell the business to Asian people the quality immediately drops. The fish hoagies are horrible. The fish is frozen processed fish out of a box. I will never eat there again..15 dollars for a nasty hoagie

A West Philly Fast Comfort food institution. Fish, Shrimp and Chicken Wings. Oh and don't Skip out on the cheese fries!
