Stopped by the IKEA restaurant early in the day while shopping for a new place — needed something quick and filling. We came as a party of two: one of us ordered the classic meatballs and the other got a salmon dish. Even though the meatballs had just come out, they were already dry, which was disappointing since they're usually a favorite. The mashed potatoes on the side were watery and ended up diluting the gravy quite a bit.

The salmon looked great and tasted how you'd expect — fresh and light. We also grabbed a Daim cake, but it was already sweating, possibly from the humidity or sitting out too long. On the plus side, service was quick and polite. It’s a standard cafeteria-style setup, so expectations were modest. The self-serve drinks are always appreciated, especially on a hot day. Overall, a convenient stop, but the food could’ve been better this time around.

The IKEA cafeteria in Philadelphia offers a surprisingly delightful dining experience. The selection of Swedish-inspired dishes, such as the iconic meatballs and fish, provide a unique and flavorful break from the typical mall style food court. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with plenty of seating and bright, modern decor. The prices are reasonable, making it an affordable stop for both a quick snack and a full meal. Whether you’re shopping or just looking for a casual bite, the IKEA cafeteria in Philly is a great choice!

45 minutes to get our 5 small articles picked. Very disappointing. This was a slow Sunday afternoon. Also took 20 minutes and the Manager still didn’t come out of office to see me. Horrible.

Such low price for the food is amazing 🤩. Who won’t be hungry and tired after shopping at ikea, the restaurant is a great option to recharge yourself.

We only went to catch a glimpse of The SS United States! Sad what's become of her. We enjoyed our view and our time at Ikea. ?

Every time I come here the coffee machine on the 2nd floor is out of order or making hot water only.
Regular brewed coffee tastes awkwardly, you can't drink that brownish water at all.
Pizza slice was pretty big and hot, taste ok, but nothing extraordinary.
Uncleaned tables with crumbs.

The food is good. Prices aren't that bad but no one is properly cleaning the tables and chairs in the seating area. Quite a few tables have food stains, leftover ketchup, crumpled tissues and fries strewn about.

Food is great, but expensive.

Parking: When I arrived there were not a lot of parking spots, but it is possible to find one.

Kid-friendliness: Has a area for kids in the store, not the food court.

I was at the restaurant on 05/07/23. This IKEA South Philadelphia doesn’t have the same food as in other IKEA restaurants. The meatballs were either overcooked or yesterday. The fruit salad was spoiled. I am a truck driver, I go to eat at IKEA restaurant very often in all states. All restaurants always provide quality, standard and tasty food, but this restaurant disappointed me:(
