Not the best place to work, you're paid in tips, no hourly wage. No tables, no money. That said, if this restaurant had more business it'd be a great place to work! The food is great, which is why I'm confused why it's always empty.
I found a cockroach in the menu. The bartender killed it, didn't offer another menu, didn't apologize,, AND charged me for my drink. Plus, the manager (?) tried to play it off like it was a water bug. HORRIBLE. I will never return & discourage any to go there. TERRIBLE.

So, I've been coming here for years - way back when they were cash only. I'm happy to report they now accept credit and debit cards, and the food is still just as delicious!!! I think for the neighborhood, the ambiance may not seem quite as "hip" as other places. But it's seriously great food, for decent prices, they are BYO But also have a full bar. I dig it!
