It was one of the best dim sum places in Chinatown but it's not there any more
I miss this place. Sadly they closed down in February. Best dim sum place in center city.
Love their Dim Sum. Unfortunately Imperial Inn is no longer in existance. If you've never been, you missed out.
Great food and service. Sadly they are closed now
Very good Chinese food and atmosphere. Been a regular here for years, family has been going there for generations.
I always have good consistent dim sum here. Some of the dishes can be a little salty. The bathrooms are fine; the truck driver who said they are the worst is full of Trump. Go underground to most Septa restrooms and you'll see much worse.
What a treasure so sad this legacy has moved on.. Best legit Chinese food next to the one in Yeadon Pa many years ago as a young child after swim club.
Great place. Been going for years. It's closing.
I love this place and the people who own, host, cook, and serve here. I've been going to Imperial Inn since the late 1970s. I took my children there and they love it and now my grandchildren love it. We only go there when we are downtown. I am heartbroken to hear they are closing. They will be dearly missed. They have the BEST Spring Rolls and Shrimp Rolls in the world. No one can make them like the Chefs at Imperial Inn. I wish they would market their Rolls. This is my family special place. It saddens me they will close but Blessings Always to Everyone at Imperial Inn â¤
But unfortunately they will be closing their doors for good on Sunday, after 45 years.

In the ninety's my godmom took me here to try the crispy shrimp rolls. I still come a couple times per month, if I'm in Philly for the crispy shrimp rolls! I've never had a shrimp roll so good in my life. Aside from the shrimp rolls, the service is great, they serve white meat chicken in the chicken dishes, and you can get a cocktail.
Imperial Inn is truly one of the best casual sit down restaurants with bar in Chinatown. The food is amazing. The staff is kind. The building is wheelchair accessible, with wheelchair accessible bathrooms! It's really a shining star. I love the older times vibe the ambiance offers. Have I mentioned the food is excellent?
Excellent. Absolutely excellent. Deserving a special mention in the amaze-balls category is the Phoenix Roll; no way to describe what you need to experience in person.
The place is so dated. I only ordered fried rice and it was delicious. No complaints. Could have gone to the neighborhood and got it much cheaper though. But for Chinatown it was a good buy.
One of the best spots to get Chinese food in the city. Everything comes in large portions worth the movie. On the weekends it is best to make reservations this place gets packed on the weekends. The food is delicious.
