Independence Mall Café

This cafe was very average. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon, as a break from all the student tour groups and other types of groups. The service was somewhat slow and they forgot one of our hotdogs (just had to remind them). Quick stop for people to stop by if you're in the area & need some sustenance.

I love this little cafe. Usually take my grandson here for some kind of ice cream (push pop, popsicle, etc), but it looks like they have nice salads, sandwiches and pizza as well as beer and wine. There are litte tables under trees or tents, pretty flowers all around, and nice music playing. Even on a hot day it is comfortable under the trees. A real nice place to relax if you are walking around in town or touring the city.

They are now open for breakfast! I had the best Pork Roll Sandwich to start my day this morning. It was served on a soft brioche roll with American Cheese and spicy mustard. What a classic that is always tasty! The sandwich was served in a bag to conveniently be taken on the go or eaten right there at the cafe. Their coffee selection is also amazing.
