Found a sharp object (thought this was an egg shell but it has plastic sharp edge to it) in my fried rice. I appreciate the portion but they need to reassess their fried rice recipe & quality. Rice was too mushy & noodle was overcooked. For a $14 fried rice only to get half of boiled egg is disappointing. I ordered their fried chicken and sambal before & it tasted pretty good though.

I don't have Indonesian food nearby where I live. Placed several dishes for take out. The new owner very attentive and suggestive of their new menu over the phone. They package the food very nicely and survived 4.5 hour of Amtrak train ride out of state! All dishes arrived whole, nothing spilled and still fresh. I ordered Batagor, gado gado, nasi gudeg, bandeng presto, tempeh goreng, mie Jamur, bakso penthung. All so yummy and satisfy my craving of home country food. Thank you so much!

It was one of good Indonesian restaurant in Philly - after the owner left, it was taken over by somebody else.We tried to order couple of times, the 215* phone did not work, there is a dover # 302* which always go-to the voice-mail - and finally picked up. To our surprise the receiver did not speak Indonesian and saying all that we tried to order not available.

This place used to be that "Indonesia Restaurant" however it's recently operated under new management hence the name "Mama Kitchen."Came in with a group of 7 and everything was excellent. Grilled ribs, mama fried chicken, fried duck with mango chili salsa, rawon, meatball soup, gudeg ...nothing disappoints. As an Indonesian I can vouch for this place. They have different directions with the food compared to similar counterparts around the area.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Good food, nice ambiance, and fast service. Great place for birthday celebration upstairs. Love the special fried rice and lomein with rambutan ice drink. I strongly recommend this restaurant to all of my friends.

I was greeted at the door by a very attentive staff. A friend suggested this establishment to get together grab a bite and catch up. We had lamb fried rice and lamb kabobs. Both dishes were perfectly prepared. I also had an avocado drink that was smooth and refreshing. Highly recommend.

One of my top locations for tasty indonesian food. Dropped in on Mon I think. Quick and friendly service. Prices that won't break you. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I loved.
