I live in the area and go here all the time. The portions are massive, ingredients are ALWAYS fresh. Very friendly and attentive service. Beautiful decoration and vibe inside and outside.
I’ve gone to IosRestobar twice now and I must say both times the food was phenomenal. As a New Yorker I try not to give Philly too much credit lol, but I must say this is the best Greek restaurant I’ve been to. The lamb chops were so flavorful and tender. The spanakopita were amazing. And the calamari was perfect. This is definitely my go to Greek restaurant here in Philadelphia.
A little conflicted on this place. Newly opened, former location of Fare. I'd give it a 3.5. Disclaimer, I'm not a fan of Greek food. But we did have a nice patio table, dogs allowed. I had a bite of the lamb flatbread and it was better than expected. The chicken gyro was tasty but greasy. Our initial server was great (again, so bad at remembering names) but our second server was lacking. The initial server did let us know she was going off shift, and I asked if we should...
