This place is amazing. Their prices are unmatched and the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially John. There's no better place to buy fish in Philly.
Great selection, super friendly & helpful staff.
Giuseppe's fresh market is a hidden gem and the ultimate stop for seafood mavens and newcomers alike! The weekly specials keep a rotation of affordable options available - I'm talking $1 lobster tails, $10 full steamed lobster, and sea bass at 40% the Italian market prices. The oysters were diverse and sublime, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this to all my seafood loving friends!
Freshest seafood, great prices, and fast customer service. What else can you ask for.

Always clean. The seafood is fresh
Not only do they have high quality seafood, but they are awesome too!My car broke down here right as they were closing. The woman at the counter called security to make sure they knew I was going to be waiting there for a tow truck (there are still workers in the building at night).I was outside in my car for a while and Bob came out to check and make sure I was okay (his boss said I had been there for a while and was concerned). Not only did Bob allow me back inside the closed building to use the restroom but he let me sit inside to wait for the tow truck (it was 20° outside and my window was stuck down). The security guy even checked with me to see if I needed anything once the truck arrived.
Freshest and consistent quality
I bought a cod fish platter and the fish was very small.
