Island Fritay should enter the top 10 Haitian restaurants that make the best food in Philadelphia because Island Fritay's food is always tasty and well presented 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great food, except one time they gave me rice instead of the fritay I asked for, but lucky me the rice was fantastic

The food is amazing, but the customer service is so unwelcoming. There’s a lady that only works at the Front that takes order and your money .. I spent money at this location, at least two to three times a week . She doesn’t like Americans because I see how well she speaks to her own people but gives me attitude. Every time I step foot in there , I love Haitian food my husband is Haitian and my daughter is half Haitian so I respect their Ethnicity. But dealing with this lady will be the last time I step foot in this place. I won’t be spending my hard own money where I feel like I don’t belong , the messed up part about it is that o had to go back to the car and ask my husband to get my food maybe there will be better serve

The Griot Fritay plate was very good. While in Philly and need a taste of the Caribbean and more specifically, a taste of Haiti, will definitely come back....

I’m willing to say they have the best pikliz in the city, lol. I got takeout last night for dinner. I’m from miami which is plentiful of very good haitian restaurants - Island Fritay reminded me of being home. Very reasonable price for the amount of food you get & they are not stingy with the meat portions. I got tassot kabrit (goat), the meat was well seasoned & cleaned properly (i’ve been places where you can smell the gaminess of the meat or the actual restaurant has a permeating raw smell).. Will return 10/10!

Absolutely delicious! Must try!! Extremely flavorful, perfectly prepared, large portions and fair pricing! I still can't believe how delicious everything was. I live 2hrs away and we're driving back today just to get more! The service from the woman there was very good as well. I have dietary restrictions because I am vegan and she was informative and accommodating. | Service:
Vegetarian options: Vegan options. Easily customizable.

Best cooked goat I've ever had. Not dried out like a lot of places. Pikliz was good and I'm picky about pikliz. Music was far too loud for the older people we encountered in the restaurant and far too loud to hold a conversation. The music was full of foul language and I felt bad for the older lady that sat there and tried to speak about preachers.
