Bad customer service , food wasn’t fresh!
I'm so disappointed in the food I had to write a review as soon as I finished eating. Their oxtails overpriced to only get 6 pieces of oxtails full of fat & bones. The oxtails barely had meat on them, the rice was hard & the platter itself wasn’t hot. Food didn’t taste fresh. $21 dollars wasted never again.
We ordered three dinners plus six patties delivered. The patties were burned.
they people dictate the sides they wanna give you mac and yams aren't considered a side and with all these jamican restaurant throughout the city you would think these people would know how things operate in Philadelphia so 1 and done
No GO!.....it was so bullshit ill never go ther again
I came to Philly to visit my Fiancee and decided to grab food from this spot. I called them and asked if they had oxtails. I didn’t see it on the DoorDash for pickup. They sold out. Ok fine so i placed an order for Pepper Steak. The lady called me within a few minutes and said that they are out, I said ok I’ll take Jerk Chicken. I arrive 30 minutes later by Uber. Driver outside waiting. The lady tells me there is no Jerk chicken and that another woman saw I had ordered Pepper steak and took it upon herself to cancel the order because she didn’t communicate with the other woman that I would take a replacement. Wasn’t very nice about the inconvenience they caused me. And just had an “Oh Well” attitude. So I paid extra money for my Uber to wait and to have a stop added for nothing.
So good, the stew chicken falls off the bone & the portions are generous for the price!
Females who are assigned to bag customers orders, interferes with relationships by putting hearts and winking emojies on the bag not knowing that there wives can see the rudeness, it needs to stop and it.
Food and service is TRASH. No longer a good place.

This was the worst food I’ve ever had in my entire life. I heard about this restaurant through social media. Everyone was saying how good and authentic the food was. Majority of the feedback was great. I love Jamaican cuisine. Especially Jerk chicken. So, I decided to order through Uber eats. I ordered the Jerk Chicken. With Rice, Yams, Mac&Cheese and Cornbread. When I received my order everything was still hot. However, everything was bland, dry and distasteful. The jerk chicken was dry and bland. The Yams were big, dry and disgusting. The rice was dry and bland and the Mac and Cheese was not appetizing. I expected everything to be authentic and the opposite of what I received. I’m not sure if it’s because I order through a delivery servicer or they just don’t care. I would not be ordering from here ever again.
The oxtails weren't tender at all. The sauce was good though. The cabbage was very bland. The rice was dry even with the sauce over it. My son had the jerk chicken. Again, not tender. The greens tasted like they came right out of a can and were disgusting. I will not be back. P.S. I went there around 530pm so there was more than enough time to have everything simmering and to perfect tenderness. 24 for tough oxtails insane. Likewise for a 16.00 chicken player that came with 2 drums. The lady at the front taking orders wasn't very friendly either. Will not be going back. One and done

The service is very poor, staff not friendly at all, food I find to be very expensive, when walk into the store it's like u asking them to speak to you, I know they always said when going to Jamaican restaurant u going for the food not the service, however if am spending my money I want good service as well, they are not welcoming or inviting at all.
