We had a good time.As we walked about we discovered Istanbul Cafe and Pastries, with the sign noting "Turkish coffee."This summer we travelled through Miami and enjoyed one of the small cups of some strong, thick Cuban coffee.I understood Turkish is similar, and it is, so we ordered some, just to try. While I'm not a coffee connoisseur, I can attest that this Turkish coffee tastes good (most coffee does not taste good to me). While the taste is strong, and while the ground in the bottom of the small cup are THICK, we were not over-energized by this - no nervous energy.Our daughter ordered a matcha, which. I had never heard of... it's green tea tat is frothed and super tasty!We also picked up two "legendary Uludag Gazoz sodas," also from Turkey, which we enjoyed later in the day.Thank you.---------------

Very friendly and authentic place. They have real Turkish food and beverage products like Turkish coffee, baklava, simit, etc.
Very expensive for tiny portions. The simit cost over $8 and was literally a few mouthfuls. It also appeared to have been microwaved yet took about 10 mins to make.

The food was surprisingly simple and good. I was a bit disappointed with lahmucun, I wished it was a bit more substantial, but the flavor was good. Turkish breakfast sandwich was nice, but truth be told I felt like I could make that at home. Pistachio baklava was a bit too sweet for my taste, and did not taste too fresh. However, I did enjoy the dibek coffee, and Turkish coffee. I do have to say the service was very good and helpful. There is only counter seatings along the windows, but there are some tables and chairs right outside.
