Will never be ordering from here again. I was a regular; ordered the same thing and pretty frequently. Today I call for a chicken cheesesteak with green peppers. Every single time I order this; the chef takes their own initiative and adds onions to my sandwich. Usually I swallow the disappointment and I won’t make a fuss—but after having this happen so often; I called and let them know of the mistake. Guy on the phone said they would send me a replacement and to not eat the original; which was still unscathed. I waited a half hour; called back for them to then again say “We are sending it out in 5 minutes.” (After they were already supposed to send one following the FIRST call). Waited almost another half hour and my sandwich in question arrives and it is still wrong. Half tossed unseasoned chicken with no cheese and with pickled, vinegar soaked, jar peppers is what I got. Still the wrong order. Oh, and; this happened within two hours nearly and by the end of the ordeal it was closing time, so there is still no solution for me. Just missing money and a meal since I paid via card. I don’t recommend ordering via the phone or doordashing this place.
The only reason I gave it minimal stars is because I ordered one piece of chicken. They gave me some rice and potatoes, a fountain soda and they charge me almost $20. I didn’t pay this a couple of weeks ago. This is crazy. I even questioned it I do not recommend this place. The prices are ridiculous.

Their pizza is way better than Lazo's (especially the Sicilian!) and they always have lots of choices if you're looking for a quick slice. The pasta dinner options are INCREDIBLE in both tase (delicious) and portion size (bountiful).
Last, but certainly not least, the MEXICAN options are outstanding. I know, I know... one normally doesn't think to get a burrito at a place called "Italian Express"... But TRUST ME - The entire kitchen staff is Mexican anyway so they definitely do it right!!!
Atmosphere - old school pizza shop without the bells and whistles. A few booths cramped into a very tight space, Order to go and eat in the comfort of your home!

I have called ahead and order my pizza and I so happen to be on my way there. I got there early and then proceeded to see if I can add onto my order. I told him i ordered a small cheese pizza on the phone but I want to add on. I guess he did not hear me, he say “your order not ready yet we just got off the phone” I said “OK, i would to add on” then proceed “what you want what you want” … “i said i wanted to add a small french fry on but it’s OK. You can cancel the whole order I don’t like how your talking to me and your about to handle my food” I used to go to this place when i was a little girl and thought to treat me and my babies to some pizza but that didn't work out never again!

Just moved back to Philly and started looking for a go-to pizza/Italian food devilery. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and the baked ziti. The devilery was very efficient and the food was hot on arrival. You could taste the quality from the very first bite. We would highly recommend this place and will order again soon.

I order from here almost everyday for lunch! The staff is nothing short of amazing! Super friendly. They go over and beyond. Place is always clean. Everything I’ve ordered have always been fresh and delicious! Their chicken parm sandwich was the best of the best! Chicken fried perfectly, great sauce and portion of cheese. It’s the best in city! Makes me love my new neighborhood more ❤️
