I came back for the French Onion soup and brought a friend. I had the soup just 10 days before and it was so delicious. Not so much this time. It was rather bland. Also the serving size between my soup and my friends was noticeably different even before we started eating. My crock had very little liquid soup. Maybe the person preparing the French Onion soup that night didn't stir the pot enough to get the flavor mixed and were distracted when putting the amount of soup going into each crock. Our salad were good. I really enjoyed the Grain Bowl salad with shrimp and my friend liked the Apple-Pomegranate salad with feta.
I used to go here often and always got the buffalo cauliflower. I haven't been in years and was disappointed with the cauliflower being soft and lukewarm and not crispy like it used to be. My friend and I split the Bahn mi and the vegan cheesesteak. The rolls were too doughy and there was very little “meat” in the cheesesteak. The sandwiches were fine but for the price, I don't think I would get either again. The happy hour sangria is always a treat and I will be back for that.
We were a group of6 retired friend- 4 vegans and two who had no dietary restrictions. Todd was delicious, service excellent.
Our meals were delicious and the service was attentive. Front Street is a great choice for breakfast or brunch. They always have some nice specials.
This is one of my favorite Philly restaurants. Cool vibe and exciting drink and menu options for everyone. The service is great. Everyone is super friendly. If you have restrictions like gluten or are a vegan, fear not since they have all of that covered. And it's some of the best vegan and GF food we've ever encountered. We will make this a usual stop when we plan to dine in Philly Fishtown has many options, but don't sleep on this one. And don't worry about the sound of the El passing by. That's all part of the charm.
Thank you for accommodating my request to make the reservation for 7 people. We had a blast!
Our meal was hit or miss. The farmers pie was delish as was the tofu ban mi, but the potato leek soup was actually awful. We've had breakfast here before several times and it has always been really good so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that the soup was just a rare miss.
Our 1st time dining@Front St Cafe. The service was very good. Waitress super nice. Food taste great. I'll def return w/friends.
Shout out to my favorite waiter Mo, always takes great care of me and is very attentive. It's always a great vibe

Loved the outdoor seating and great weekday specials. Food was delicious and service was good.
Very good food, great friendly service and refreshing libations. Portion size was plentiful and the buffalo cauliflower appetizer still is my hands down favorite. I've eaten here many times and the FSC always provides a great experience.
A friend of mine has celiacs and was able to choose from a good set of options for brunch and did not get sick from cross-contamination. A win for us!
Excellent all around - staff were friendly and quick. Food was delicious. Outdoor seating here is the way to go.
My experience at Front Street was wonderful. My mom was dining with me, and she has celiac disease and is also a vegan. The restaurant had a vibrant atmosphere, a wide array of choices for her and our server, David was wonderful. We were traveling into Philly from New York and it was a wonderful time and experience. We would definitely visit again when we are in town. Highly recommend this spot for anyone with gluten allergies. They were wonderful to my mom.
