Brunch staff seemed unprepared for their 10am brunch buffet and non buffet menu which was weird because we didn't arrive until after 11. Place needs refreshed and staff still need some refinement but they were very pleasant and affable. Food was decent but they were unable to make menu adjustments. Still a work in progress. Jazz group was excellent. Good parking and access.

I had the pleasure of attending brunch at Jacob’s. I didn’t know what to expect because I was used to the old Relish. I had to remind myself that Jacob’s is NOT Relish! I was so pleased with my server, the great attitude, attention to detail, and really making me feel very comfortable. The food was amazing and nicely seasoned. The turkey wings were very flavorful. The different options that I had to choose from on the buffet were very nice. The musician playing live music was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend the Sunday Jazz Brunch at Jacob’s! Definitely will be back with family and friends. Good job Jacob’s! Keep up the good work! Definitely not the old Relish, better with better food!

I decided to go to Jacob's for my birthday on Oct. 5th. The restaurant had great ambience and absolutely delicious food (I had turkey wings, mac n cheese, and collards). My daughter had fried chicken with the same sides and my husband had a surf and turf burger. We also had appetizers (crab balls, salmon balls, and buffalo wings), all of which were amazing. Our server was very polite and accommodating. The chef, Ricardo, came out to greet us, and they sang happy birthday. The cheesecake with caramel drizzle was delectable. Tanesha has done a great job. I'm looking forward to going back.

The waitress was pleasant but seemed rushed. I had salmon cakes and grits. The salmon cakes were mushed and grits taste instant and under cooked and watery. I had a party of four and everyone complained of the lack of flavor in the food. Silverware was dirty. The decor was terrible. It appeared that they reopened the lovely Relish and failed to make any adjustments or improvement to interior. There is chipped paint and walls were removed and replaced with plexiglass. So the “private dining” areas are not really private. The host at the front was watching movies on her phone when we arrived and barely looked up to greet us. The front of the restaurant smelled like musk. I was excited because I thought that this place would hold up the same reputation as Relish. Unfortunately they did not. We were looking to hold a bday dinner for my brother in January and came to try out the restaurant. Definitely will be looking elsewhere.

Food was delicious. I highly recommend.
$21 for a chicken cheesesteak. Why? & 15 French fries our people. I don't want nothing for free. But it's not worth the price.
Food not good, waited an hour atmosphere gloomy, not worth $40 per person

We went there on 09/21 for brunch to celebrate my niece's 21st bday. A party of 11. Took over an hr to get food. The owner does not have good tableside manners. We had issues with the Mimosa tower and misinterpretation based on how the menu was worded. She was very unprofessional. Explaining that she's been in business for two years and nobody else had a problem, etc. They don't give you enough food for everyone in your party. A buffet timed for 90 mins but the food is only bought out once. Never explained that either. I will NEVER eat here again or recommend this establishment. Our waitress was Amazing!! They worked her to death. She had NO assistance. She was professional, pleasant and accommadating.

Omg, the grilled salmon was so tender. I loved the garlic mash potatoes and the shrimp fried rice was also delicious. I will definitely come back again.

Stuffed mussels, Mac n cheese with Gouda, collards and fried chicken. Although I couldn’t eat it all, I got not one but 2 of those stuffed mussels ??they are top notch! We played several rounds of video bingo, which was so much fun! It was all of our first time there since it turned into Jacob’s and they didn’t disappoint. The DJ’s were on point as well. The only critique we had was that they need more servers. But even with that the food came out hot, he was very attentive, professional and personable. Definitely looking forward to going back. (Wayyyyy better than Julz)

My husband and I went to Jacob’s for our wedding anniversary. And to say the food was phenomenal would be an understatement. He had the whiting with garlic mashed potatoes and collard greensI had the grilled salmon with sweet potatoes with collard greens . Bothe of our fishes were flavorful and flaky. He ordered the seafood Mac and cheese to go and we were blessed with a slice of cheesecake wishing us a happy anniversary! My husband was stuffed from dinner, but when I gave him a taste of the cheesecake, it was a wrap!!..lol. The staff was outstanding and extremely attentive. It was like being with family ❤️. We will be back soon!
