The food is always good. The atmosphere is not that appealing but the food and service more than make up for that.

I enjoyed the oxtail the most, chicken was decent, curry goat was gamey but the curry broth was good. Portions were smaller than another places. Did not like the mac and cheese or the rice and bean sides.

Top halal Jamaican food this. We had the large jerk chicken, oxtail and pepper steak. The meat was cooked well and tender. Sides were tasty too. Mac&cheese, vegetarian pasta were tasty, the rice&beans felt a bit dry and the yams were a bit too sweet for my liking but overall it was good food.
Definitely recommend!

Parking: I always get a parking spot but if no parking spot it’s a lot across the street that you can park in that’s free

Great tasting Jamaican food. The oxtail tastes authentic and fresh. The jerk chicken is similar. And its halal as well which is amazing

Got a medium order of Jerk Chicken. A photo is provided.

The chicken comes from a young bird cleaved in pieces and thighs, breasts, ribs come in parts. It's not whole bird sections. This chicken is cooked with a nice dry rub. Jerk sauce is provided in a container and it is excellent.

The Medium Order comes with two sides. First here is the Mac & Cheese. It's excellent and was al dente.

The other side, however, was not as good. The rice was not thoroughly cooked through, some parts were hard. There also wasn't enough sauce on the rice -- that was disappointing.

For $14, it could and should step up.

I hope that will be the case, there are other things to try.

Oh my where do I start. Very disappointed with this meal I got from jam rock. First time coming here and food wasn’t it. Oxtail weren’t tender and lack flavor, rice was hard. Mac and cheese was okay but wish everything was good so I can leave a good review. $34 wasn’t worth it smh

Best tasting restaurant in Philadelphia hands down. My coworker always lost his mind when he tasted the jerk chicken, then call me to come taste it too. I’m like “ bro I know ☺️”
