My names is also James, I’m not old enough to go to a bar, but my name is James so I rate it 5 stars
good place to relax and unwind. the staff was very sociable and kind. the bill was appropriate.
Get the crab cake sandwich!! You won't be disappointed! @youbeeverywheretravelagency
As wonderful as our experience was, it was eclipsed by the seamless, professional and engaging server, Meghan. She was fabulous. She answered our questions about the menu with pinpoint accuracy as we took her suggestions and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. It's a gorgeous space and we'll definitely be back.
The live jazz made our brunch all the more amazing. Food was delicious and we loved the vibe.
We stopped at James for a light supper. I ordered the meatballs which was an appetizer. My husband had a salad with chicken. Our food was served promptly and we were able to take advantage of the Happy Hour prices. We left satisfied. I would recommend this restaurant for a light supper.
Brunch was pretty rough, steak and eggs was trash. Egg was undercooked, steak was overcooked.
Drinks, dinner, service - all excellent. Drinks were creative and well priced. We will be back on our next visit!
We were here for Sunday brunch and much of the food looked fantastic and got excellent reviews. However, I was dissatisfied with my Philly Benedict. The ribeye was dry and the poached eggs were hard. Just a miss! My friend who ordered the Classic Benedict had properly prepared eggs and was very happy. For this type of restaurant, an egg fail is really disappointing. Ambiance. Great musical trio.
Perfect service, delicious food

I love James. It has become a "go-to" spot for me when taking a colleague to lunch. The food is delicious and consistent.
Amazing food. Helpful staff. Right across the street from Four Seasons(Comcast Tower) & Vernick Fish but it's a more reasonable price.??️
This place was ok. I normally dont give reviews unless the place is really good or really bad but in this case I thought it would be worth a past to help some others. My real complaint is the staff seemed uninterested in serving the customers. The bar was full and there were 3 bartenders with a fairly empty restaurant. The wait staff hung out at the end of the bar and visited with the bartenders so they neglected to refresh drinks, take orders, etc. While this was the only time I stopped in, it always runs me wrong when staff stand around talking and patrons have to wait. Other than that the food was descent and they did have a good selection of bourbons, vodkas, and other spirits. If you are more patient than me I would say give it a shot otherwise, you may swing by any other number of bar restaurants in the area.
I'm not going to bash them, but my steak came out cold and there were like 10 total people in the restaurant. I asked them to warm it up for me and they did it. The food tastes decent and the apps were pretty good.
Get your act together! This place has the best burger in town. And maybe the best fries. But over the last two years service has been consistently poor. The servers take forever to bring your food. Then I ordered food for pickup and had to wait 20 min not for the food but for the waitress to bring me my receipt to sign ? Then the hostess, he places my food on the ground while I’m waiting. In what f*$$king world?? Best of all my $20 burger with no fries was in a styrofoam case in an unbranded paper bag. Guys your next to Vernick, Four Seasons, and even tap house. You’re the value spot but you still got to step your game up.
