I give them two star because of the cashier because the cashier was nice but the food used to be the best food in the good food ever I used to love going there all the time but right now I don't know what is going on. they need to hire the old cook because the food don't taste nothing it's water it says way better than the food

The food is fantastic ! The people there are really nice and respectful. But the caribbean cuisines are top !! Well seasoned and flavorful. The oxtails are delicious as well as the stew chicken. The j*** chicken is all that too. I thought Ron Caribbean on Broad and Olney was the best ,but this place is giving them a run for their money . Like wow ! My family and I ordered from them alot . The food is 8 ? ?

I just have to tip my hate off to the staff and cooks of this fine establishment the food is always Impeccable flavorful and on point.When you order from this business you get exactly what I ask for and money well spent I give the full menu 10 stars not 5. The staff is very friendly and welcoming wether you go to the store physical or by Uber eats or other food apps. Thank you so much for the Excellent meal this evening I will always patronize Island taste and Caribbean Restaurant.Ps this is my oxtail platter it was even bigger than this but I am devouring it.

They gave me chicken with no sauce on it ?? I bit into the chicken it was ice cold, it felt like I swallowed a ice cube. Driest cabbage I ever ate! The rice and peas are good tho I’ll give them that. But they wrong for that dry ice cold chicken

Bring your appetite! Caribbean food that is finger licking good! Serving sizes are very satisfying and will be enough to share or save for leftovers. You can’t go wrong! My favorite is the Sweet Chili Chicken!! Yummy

They charged me $60 for 3 platters of beef and rice which only came with 3 small cubes of beef each platter and not to mention the beef was not tender at all I couldn’t even chew it I don’t recommend anyone eating from this place at all

Their food is always great! The service was especially very good the evening of 1/5/22. Although they were out of Mac n Cheese lol. I ordered the pepper steak with rice and plantains, veggie and chicken beef patties and Peanut Punch. Definitely recommend. They do get busy so prepare to wait at least 10-20 min for your food.
The food wasn’t tasty at all! The fish was small, unseasoned and the rice and peas was sour. The chicken patty was a disappointment too. I had an order of plantains as well and they were extremely dry! I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Food was amazing!I ordered j*** chicken, rice and beans with cabbage topped with mild j*** sauce. I was satisfied with the amount of food for a medium. Anymore I would of been sleep afterwards. The customer service was pleasant. Will definitely comeback again! Highly recommend it, if your in the neighborhood stop by. You won’t regret it.
