FOOD was definitely a 10; 5 stars on the “Matty” wings and 5 for the burger that put my homie to sleep… The SERVICE a 4 because GM Tim was extremely cool and pleasant with us as we greeted him outside the door, shout out Taylor(Our waitress) who has a BEAUTIFUL smile but with very little traffic, we should’ve been seeing that smile a lot more! Thanks for suggesting the “Matty” wings too! The ATMOSPHERE was chill on a Sunday around 7 is when me & my team arrived! We’re “A Gentlemans Touch LLC.” Men’s style & Fashion Brand Ambassadors. And 10/10 recommend :-)

Great people, and atmosphere
They recently changed up some menu items and the food is on point.
One of the last places in manayunk you can get good bar food and a couple beers for 20 bucks.

Made the mistake of ordering a cheesesteak from here today because they had a deal...tasted exactly like the dirty grill it was likely cooked on.

Health inspection might be overdue.

Love the bar's layout, and the staff are all great! But it is a "kiddie" bar for the most part.

I know this isn't a place for fine dining. I offered a Flatbread and was horribly sick later that night3. The beer selection was ok. Very much a local hang out. But the service was friendly.

Every time is a fun experience here. It's bar food, don't come here looking for anything spectacular, but it's done extremely well. Happy hour specials rock! My favorites are the garlic cheese sticks, the fried pickles, the onion rings, and the Bavarian pretzel. Outside of happy hour appetizers the chicken parm is better than it has any right to be! I also enjoy the shrimp basket, the salads, and the $5 cheesesteaks on Thursday nights. Above-average selection on tap, always something to drink, and happy hour prices rock. The cheesesteak egg rolls are a little bland, I just wish they were more seasoned. Other than that, I totally recommend JD McGillicuddys! It's a staple here in Manayunk.
