I know this isn't a place for fine dining. I offered a Flatbread and was horribly sick later that night3. The beer selection was ok. Very much a local hang out. But the service was friendly.

Every time is a fun experience here. It's bar food, don't come here looking for anything spectacular, but it's done extremely well. Happy hour specials rock! My favorites are the garlic cheese sticks, the fried pickles, the onion rings, and the Bavarian pretzel. Outside of happy hour appetizers the chicken parm is better than it has any right to be! I also enjoy the shrimp basket, the salads, and the $5 cheesesteaks on Thursday nights. Above-average selection on tap, always something to drink, and happy hour prices rock. The cheesesteak egg rolls are a little bland, I just wish they were more seasoned. Other than that, I totally recommend JD McGillicuddys! It's a staple here in Manayunk.

Bouncers have 0 iq, kicked me out for being too drunk but I had yet to even order a drink, lol. Don’t go here unless you’re underage and want to be hit on by the bouncers, they only like underage women. Actual ped0s.

It's awkward waiting ten minutes for any staff members to notice you when you arrive to pickup an online order. The icing on the cake was the staff member saying absolutely nothing to me - like literally not a word. He just stared at me until I said, "Hello, I am here to pick up." I had to initiate all communication thereafter and zero words continued to be spoken by the staff member.

Friendly bartenders and reasonably priced drinks and food specials. Great place to watch the Birds, Sixers or any other sporting event.

The bartenders really let me down in this place. Game 2 of the Phillies playoff wildcard… everybody is pumped up. The crew behind the bar couldn’t have cared less. Drink wait time was about 30 minutes (the bar was not packed). It seems they do not want people to actually have a good time here.

Definitely a let down, i see this place packed alot so i figured the food was good. Unfortunately i was wrong, my crab cakes were frozen and not hand made most likely, mashed potatoes were flavorless and cold and the veggies were not fresh and flavorless as well. Maybe because we caught them near closing but still. The waitress ready to go home so she gets a pass but the food killed it. Never again.

Food and drinks were good, but the behavior of the staff really threw me off. I went here for the first time today. There was a food truck festival in Manayunk, and it was packed. I headed to the bar to get a drink, and as I was waiting for the bartender, a man appeared next to me asking the bartender for a cup of water.. He said there was a man in the outside area who was passed out. To my surprise. the bartenders/staff seemed unconcerned and were even laughing. They were asking irrelevant questions, such as the age of a man who was passed out. They refused to get this man some water and said there's a hose across h the street(I didn't see any hose). I discovered later on that the man passed out, had hit his head and was injured. The guy next to me at the bar ended up walking away out of frustration with no water. the food and drinks at this place but that's nothing without decency.

Mixed thoughts about this place overall. Food n drink are quite reasonably priced which I would give about 3-4 stars for, with other aspects bringing the rating down. First floor is chill generally. Second floor is a bit more of that typical manayunk burb 'bro' culture. Third floor dancing is fun but has a high concentration of those. If you're from the city, dancing there is more fun than coming out to the 'burb' that manayunk wants to be. Vibe gets very stuffy with the 'bro' culture but it seems this is one of their go to spots. But most importantly, the bouncers are extremely rude/violent, got pushed twice rather hard and unnecessarily upstairs for just moving near him when letting people pass thru our dance spot. When leaving, we got to witness bouncers out front loudly argue and start pushing multiple people so that was an added bonus. Apparently this is a common sight here. I was wondering why this place was rated lower than I thought it could be, but the aggressive bouncers seal the deal with that and there are dozens of reviews saying the same. Be careful if you come here on weekends after 10pm or so when dancing starts.

Fried pickles were REALLY GOOD, especially the sauce that comes with it. All the food we had was served piping hot ? which was awesome. Had been craving Buffalo chicken dip for almost 3 weeks. I had it here and it hit the spot. ????Altogether we ordered the French onion soup, pepperoni cheesesteak, Buffalo chicken dip, loaded potato soup (didnt have much taste) fried pickles and a chicken quesadilla which didn't have much cheese but was full of chicken and flavor

Went there for Super Bowl. Great location, great crowd and a fun time. Food was good, service lacked a bit. Bar staff was attentive. Overall besides the Eagles loss, a fun night.

I really hate leaving these type reviews but whoever was working the bar downstairs on 7/8/23 was racist. Services is LAST while we waited 10+ min and he served others that came after us & Argued with me about the price but when I told my boyfriend he charged us the actual price. Why charge my card $29 but when my boyfriend says something it’s actually $25! He always spoke rude to the guy next to us. Maybe he was having a bad day but it’s no reason to treat customers like this. I will come back cus the other workers are so friendly but this bartender who worked today needs a talking to smh. I will be telling my friends about the service I received today, he needs to fired because it was clearly racism.
