As Americans, we love our American Food—the Diner. This is not an American Diner by any stretch, but the food is Diner Food. If you were born and raised here, go. I love John the owner and they are super nice. You don't even need to look at the menu, just tell them what you want. Everything I got here was good and the best scrapple.
This is a beautiful place to have breakfast and lunch. The menu is excellent and they have really nice customer service. This morning I had the breakfast platter. With scrambled eggs and sausage and rye toast with hash browns. And a large coffee. It was a absolutely delicious. The service is outstanding. And it has a nice vibe. I highly recommend Jean's Cafe.
We always go to Jean's after any appointments at Jefferson. It's a deli style breakfast/brunch spot with very affordable prices, you can get a big hearty breakfast + coffee for $5, and the food is very good.
