High expectations but such a disappointment. Very dry meat, bland flavors and way over priced . Had to beg for ketchup. Have not tried Geno's in other terminal but walk a little and try better food elsewhere.

The absolute worst cheesesteak I've ever had in Philly. Granted, I did come to the PHL airport location Sunday morning prior to an early morning (6:30am) flight. I ordered a 'Steak, egg & cheese' for $18 and it was the greasiest, most distasteful sandwich I've ever had in my life. The oil soaked through the wrap within 2-3 minutes and I had to go back for more napkins and paper wrap because it was leaking all over my luggage/carry on. When I went back, the one employee working seemed pissed off that she had to re-wrap my sandwich even though the paper was completely drenched in oil. When I finally got on the flight to 'enjoy' it, I couldn't even finish half of it because it was so greasy it made me sick (and this is coming from a guy who will eat pretty much anything). Will definitely never eat here again...you have been warned.

I ordered a cheesesteak with American cheese and fried onions. Got to my gate and discovered I was given provolone. Steak was bland and the provolone was less than enough.

Wonderfully fresh and tasty. I might come back to the airport just to get the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Best food I’ve had on vacation!

My Philly Cheese Steak expectations were dashed! I've had better Steak & Cheese from Severino's in Westbrook, Maine for Pete's sake! Bland and greasy, even with the peppers, onions & mushrooms. Save it's rep, find the best representative of the Philly Cheese Steak for that venue!

They had me at Cheesesreaks, I am a sucker for them while in Philly and that includes passing through the airport.

The quality of the food was horrible! Totally tasteless, provolone cheese was disgusting. I did not mind paying the high cost but dam! Also, I will be disputing the the bill with my credit union. I was not made aware that there was a 3% employee wage and benefit charge. I will never buy from here again. They should be closing down soon. Better off at Chic F le next door. There lines were out the door down the hall and all the way to the check point! Ok! thats an overkill, but the dam food was poor quality!

Soft pillowy-like landing to Jim’s South Street at the Philadelphia International Airport.

If you are flying on American and land at the hub terminal C in Philadelphia, or if you’re at any concourse, I suggest you make a trip over here. At the time, Jim South Street had a fire and it was disheartening to know I couldn’t go there as repairs were being done. So when when I landed from Tampa, it immediately caught my eye that this was here. I was so surprised that I just had to get this cheesesteak in my body.

Before the food review, let me just preface that I wish that Philadelphia would renovate this part of the airport, as it is one of the oldest. They need some serious renovations at terminal C as I’ve understood that the other terminals have been renovated already.

Luckily, it was just before 11 o’clock in the morning for me to indulge on this incredible cheesesteak. The service was fast, and I got what ever drink I needed. I understood the uniqueness to their technique on adding the Wiz cheese onto the bread and on top of the steak and onions. I got my food within a few minutes of ordering. As I unwrapped this indulgent food specimen, it was already dripping juices all over the paper it was wrapped in as I dug in. I can understand the hype that’s behind Jim’s as one of the best cheesesteaks you can get in the city of Philadelphia.

Granted, I grew up in the area, not knowing all the best cheesesteak spots in and around the city. This definitely gives me a greater preview on what the experience is really like at the South Street location.

As I’m sure I will go back, this will definitely leave an impression on you whether you are arriving or departing from the Philadelphia International Airport.

Philly born and raised... thought Id grab some pretzels from PHL to take back to family on West Coast. I stopped at Jim's...Total rip- off! How dare you try to charge $4.41 for each Philadelphia pretzel! The pretzels don't even appear to be fresh! You should be ashamed of yourselves!

Besides not getting the cheese right after asking me if I wanted it, the steak sandwich was dry and devoid of any flavor. Luckily they had salt and pepper in the lounge which made it edible,

It's a good cheesesteak with quality meat but a bit underseasoned. They do chop up the meat really fine and use good bread. Would not make a special trip here but good if you're in the area.
